27-I'm Yours

*leahs pov*

I woke up with Jennifer in my bed facing the other way. I would sleep in and cuddle with her, but I have to check in at work today. So I get up and throw on some white skinny jeans, and a nice dressy shirt. Then I did my makeup and hair, blah blah blah.

I walked over to where Jen was sleeping, and I rubbed her back softly. "Baby." I say trying to wake her up but she doesn't budge. "Jennifer." I say a little louder. "Mmmm." She groans and her eyes flutter, slowly opening. "I have to stop by my work, I'll be back in an hour or 2." I say and she shuts her eyes again.

"Ok?" I ask. "Mkay." She groans and I lean down and kiss her forehead before walking out to my car.

I got to my building and headed inside. "Hi Sarah." I say to the lady at the front desk. "Good morning Mrs.Remini." She says and I smile. Sometimes I forget that I'm in charge of this whole place since I don't really have to work. I'm just here if things go wrong. I get to my office and check my emails, fill out some paperwork, and fix some graphs.

I hear a knock on my door, so I tell them to come in. It's one of my workers, Devan. "Hey Devan, What's up?" I ask as he walks up to my desk. "Somebody dropped off their Resume applying for one of the job openings." He says and hands me the paper. "Ok Thankyou, I'll have Lisa interview them once I look over it." I nod and he leaves.

I go back to what I was doing, then I decide that I'm ready to go home. I get in my car and head home.

I get home to find Jen still asleep, and it's already 12. She's laying there with Blue cuddled up to her, and the sun shining on her through the window. I get out my phone and take a picture of them together. Then all of a sudden, I get really happy.

All the drama is finally over, and I can be with Jen. I mean we're not together yet, but based on our current circumstances, I'm sure we will be soon enough.

"I'm back Jen." I sit on the edge of the bed and pet Blue. He gets up and waddles over to my lap, and I pet behind his ears. Jennifer moves around a little and I shake her lightly. "Are you gonna get up today?" I giggle. "Mmmm no." She groans and I shake my head.

"C'mon Bluey." I say to Blue and stand up to get him food. He follows me to the kitchen. I walk past the couch and look at it and shake my head.

I fill Blue's food bowl, then Jennifer comes out all stumbly like, since she just woke up. "Good morning princess." I say. "Morning." She says in a tired voice. "How'd you sleep?" I ask and lean my back on the counter. "Mmm good." She says and wraps her arms around my waist hugging me. "Do you want me to make you something?" I ask and she nods with her face buried in my neck.

"Ok. What do you want?" I ask and she shrugs and pulls away. "I don't care, surprise me." She says and kisses my cheek before walking over to the stools and sitting down. "Mkay." I say and open the fridge.

"I'm gonna head home later, ok?" She says and I turn around facing her. "Whyyy?" I pout and she tilts her head. "Leah I'm not paying my bills for me to not even be there." She says and I sigh. "Fine." I roll my eyes and turn back around.

*1 week later*

"How am I gonna be able to see you if you're at work all day?" I ask Jen through the phone.

"I come home at 3, we can hang out then, if I'm not tired." She says.

"Exactly, you're gonna be exhausted everyday, you'll want to just go home and sleep." I say.

"And I have to grade papers when I get home..." She says.

"See?" I sigh.

"It'll be fine, we still have the weekends." She says.
