The sound of soft whispering briefly broke through my sleeping mind. I heard someone say, "Awe, look! They're cuddling!" And someone else snickered to the comment.

Still pretending to be asleep, I tried to figure out what was so entertaining to the boys in my bedroom. After thinking hard enough and trying to see my surroundings without opening my eyes, I realized Pony was asleep on his back with an arm around me and I was using his chest as a pillow. So that was what was so entertaining to them.

They kept whispering dirty little things, completely unaware of me being able to hear them. It was Soda Steve and Two-Bit. They had a real problem with watching me sleep.

"Guys, get out. Let them sleep." I heard Johnny whisper.

"Yes, get out and let us sleep. Or else I'll rip off these covers and show you our naked bodies." I whispered with my eyes still closed and a smirk on my face.

I felt the tension in the room and the three boys leave. Johnny laughed softly.

"You're not actually naked, are you? Darry would kill y'all." Johnny asked.

"Of course not. We'll be out in a little bit. Thanks." I said.

"Anytime. See you in a bit." Johnny said, softly closing my door.

I sat up and rubbed my eyes and stretched. My alarm clock said it was eight AM. I sighed, wishing I didn't stay up so late. Pony moved over to his side and began cuddling a pillow. I decided to leave him alone and walked into the living room in my pajamas.

Johnny and Two-Bit were looking through a magazine of girls modeling bathing suits. Two-Bit whispered dirty things about the girls while Johnny sat there with red cheeks and ears.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty. What happened to the other half of Pomma?" Steve said.

"Pomma?" I asked.

"Yeah, Pony and Emma mushed together." He said.

"I thought we agreed on Pemma." Soda said, drinking a cup of coffee. I cringed.

"Guys, we CLEARLY agreed that the name was Emmaboy." Two-Bit said.

I shook my head and walked into the kitchen while they argued. Darry was in the kitchen doing dishes.

"Did the whole gang have coffee this morning?" I asked, looking at the several coffee cups in the sink.

"Nope, just Soda. Hey do me a favor and throw this in a tree until he's over his obsession with coffee." Darry said, handing me the coffee machine.

"Okay...." I said. I went outback and put the coffee maker behind a bush carefully.

I came back inside and Darry thanked me. Soda came inside and was looking for the machine and got aggravated when he couldn't find it.

"What happened to the creater of happiness?" He whined.

"It died." Darry said.

"WHAT?!" He yelled.

Darry laughed as Soda stomped out and put his eighth coffee mug in the sink. I don't know why he didn't just reuse the same mug but he's Sodapop. Nobody had answers about him.

I hopped onto the counter beside Darry as he scrubbed the dishes.

"So how was dancing?" I asked.
