Chapter 4

"Wait. Wait." Obi Wan took out his lightsaber and deflected the shots that were fired at him. Destroyer droids walked into the transmission and kept shooting as Obi Wan went out of the picture. The image was cut off by Master Mace Windu appearing on the transmission.

"Anakin, stay with y/n. Stay where you are, we will handle Obi Wan." Mace disappeared from the message. "We have to go save Obi Wan." I spoke as I turned off the transmission controls. "But Mace Windu told us to stay here."

Pointing at the hologram that showed Tatooine's distance from Geonosis, he bent down next to me to look at the small screen. "We are just a parsec away from Geonosis and technically, he told you to stay with me, so I'm going to help Obi Wan." I declared as I faced forward to the controls. Anakin turned his head to me and smiled, sending butterflies throughout my body. 

He stood up and went to sit down to the co pilot seat, "Alright." Pressing the controls, the ship took off into space.

"See that steam ahead? They're exhaust vents leading to something." Anakin told me as we searched for a spot to land. "That'll do." I landed the ship onto the vents. The ship door opened and we walked out onto a pathway leading towards a metal door. 

My senses tingled, making me feel uneasy. I was cold. The familiar presence made me freeze. 

Dooku.

"Anakin," he turned around to see me standing still. Anakin came towards me and grabbed my arms, "Y/n, what's wrong?"

"Dooku is here." I stated. "Are you sure?" He asked, looking down at me. "Yes. I've felt this before." He sighed, "We better be extra careful."

The metal door opened and exposed a dark hallway. We faced forward, entering the room. Our surroundings were peculiar. A strange feeling spread throughout my body. We continued down the hall cautiously before we heard noises behind us, stopping us. "Do you hear that?" I asked. "Yeah, I do." Suddenly, a great amount of creatures flew around us from the walls and squawked as they tried to attack us. Anakin and I ignited our lightsabers and fought some off. "Y/n, see if we can get out of here.' 

I turned around and ran towards the end of the hallway, stopping at the edge of a platform that overlooked a factory. Anakin ran to me while the platform disappeared beneath my feet. "Y/n!" Anakin yelled and hung onto the ledge as I fell down onto the conveyor, dropping my lightsaber into the abyss below me. Shit.

Diverting my gave from him, I focused my attention on the machines and creatures in front of me. A Geonosian flew in front of me and grabbed me by my fists. Losing my balance, he pushed me into a large container that sat next to the conveyor belt.

Before I could jump out of it, the container was grabbed by metal claws and was taken to another part of the factory. Attempting to figure out how to get out of it without potentially dying, I heard the sound of something being poured in a distance.

Before I knew it, a metal dispenser appeared above me. Preparing for my death, it opened, but nothing came out. Abruptly, the container fell onto a platform and I rolled out in front of Geonosians with guns pointed at me.

I stood tall in the carriage as the Geonosians tightened the chains around our wrists. Although I failed, I didn't allow myself to drop my head to seem weak. I wouldn't give Dooku that satisfaction, not after what he did. 

"Don't be afraid." Anakin turned his head to me. "I'm not afraid to die, Anakin." I turned to him.

Anakin's expression was unreadable. His eyes went from my eyes to my lips before leaning down and pressing his lips against mine. My eyes almost bulged out of my sockets before I gave into to his touch. The kiss sent sparks all over my body, but that soon ended when the horn went off and the carriage started moving out from the cave. Ending the kiss, our foreheads leaned against each others prior to being brought out into an arena full of Geonosians cheering and flying around in the stands.
