The next day, I had left Anakin, who was still sleeping. Chancellor Palpatine sent me a message and requested me to visit him.
Knocking on Palptine's office door, it opened. "Ah, y/n, it's good to see you." Palpatine smiled. "It's good to see you too, Chancellor." I nodded.
"Tell me y/n, how are you doing with the council?" He asked while walking back to his seat behind his desk. Standing in front of his desk, I replied, "It's been the same, although I haven't spoken to my former Master since."
"Something wrong?" He questioned. I sighed, "I got mad and left her mid conversation when I asked about the council not telling me. Haven't talked to her since." Palpatine replied, "Well, I assume you had all the reasons to do so. After all, she didn't tell you anything. You have a right to be mad."
"I guess." I crossed my arms. "What about General Skywalker? Have you talked to him?" Palpatine asked. "Yes. So much happened on our mission." I let out.
"Like what?" He asked. Even though I shouldn't have told classified information, I told my friend. "I was consumed by the dark side of the force. I even fought General Skywalker and Master Kenobi."
"The dark side.." Palpatine spoke. "Yes." I nodded. "How did it feel?" He asked simply. "Although I hate to admit it, it felt powerful. But at the same time, I felt so many emotions that it hurt. I was a completely different person."
Palpatine sighed, "I'm sorry you went through that, dear friend." I smiled, "Thank you, Chancellor."

After my talk with the Chancellor, I made my way down the Senate hallway. There I saw Shaak Ti. Here goes nothing.
"Master?" I asked behind her. She turned around, "Y/n, it's good to see you." I spoke, "I'm very sorry about the other day. I was frustrated and I shouldn't have treated you the way I did. I'm sorry."
Master Shaak Ti gave me a warming smile, "It's okay, y/n. I know you meant no harm and I completely understand. Thank you."
I smiled at her, then said, "I have to go. I'm going to a ball tomorrow." I emphasized 'ball'. She laughed, "I'll have fun imagining that." I chuckled and said, "Goodbye." She smiled, "Goodbye, y/n."

In my room, the sun was beginning to set. I sat on the bed until there was a knock at my door. Getting up, I opened it to see Obi Wan holding a rather large bag. "Hello, y/n."
"Hello Obi Wan. Don't mind me asking, but, why are you here?" I questioned. He held out the bag, "This is your dress. The council acquired it, well I did. I do hope you like it." I took the bag out of his hands, "Thank you."
"Oh, there's one other thing." He held out a cardboard box, "Shoes." I set the bag down on my bed and took the shoes. "Thank you. How much did this cost? I'll pay you."
Obi Wan held up his hand, "No need for that, besides, I get the honor of being your date." I looked at him confused, "My date?"
"The council says I should be at your side." He said. "Come in." I stepped out of the way, "Sometimes, I don't think the council knows I can take care of myself."
Obi Wan stepped inside and I closed the door. "Trust me, they're aware. It's just that they're worried. This man will have guards as well. He's very dangerous, y/n." He informed.
"Good thing I'll have you and Anakin there." I breathed and sat on the bed. Obi Wan sat beside me, "Tell me, how are you two?" I smiled, "We're doing good. We know where we're going after the war." Obi Wan held my hand that sat in my lap, "And where's that?"
"Naboo. By the lake country." I smiled at him. Obi Wan smiled, "I'm very happy for you two. That sounds amazing. Don't tell Jar Jar." I nodded, "It does. And trust me, we won't."
Obi Wan sighed, "Sometimes, I wish I had left the order for Satine." I turned my body towards him, "Why didn't you?" He sighed, "She never asked. Before she could, we left. Our protection was no longer needed."
I placed my hand on top of his, "Obi Wan, I'm sorry." He gave me a smile, "It's okay, y/n. Thank you." Obi Wan stood up and made his way to the door. "I'll see you tomorrow then."
He left the room and I stood up. I laid the bag flat on the free floor and put the box of my shoes next to it.
I went in the bathroom and started the shower. Undressing myself, I waited until the water was warm to go in. Once it was warm, I stepped in the shower.
Tilting my head back, the water hit my hair and my back. Eventually, I washed and rinsed myself off.
Stepping out of the shower, I wrapped a towel around my body. Walking out into my room, I placed my clothes to sleep in on the bed. Once my body was dry, I dropped the towel.
Putting on my white tank top, the cold air hit my breasts, making my nipples show beneath my shirt. Slipping on my underwear and loose, black pants, I walked back into the bathroom. Standing at the sink, I grabbed my brush and moved my hair to one side on my shoulder. I ran the brush through my wet hair.
Looking in the mirror, I saw Anakin behind me leaning on the doorframe, making my breath hitch. Turning around quickly, I said, "You scared me." Anakin chuckled, "I try not to, beautiful."
I turned back around and brushed my hair. Anakin stepped behind me and placed his hands on my waist. He lowered his head to the other side of my neck where there hair wasn't in the way. Anakin connected his lips to my neck, making my tilt my head back slightly.
"I hear Obi Wan is your date." He paused. "Mhm. I wish it were you though." Anakin chuckled against my skin, "Me too. But I'll keep my eyes on you. Nothing will happen, I promise." Anakin raised himself and grabbed my brush.
"Hey!" I said and faced him. Anakin smiled, "You're so cute. Turn around." Rolling my eyes, I turned around once again. Anakin ran the brush through my hair gently. "This reminds me of the time on Naboo. Where I brushed your hair."
I cringed at that memory, "And my breakdown." Anakin reassured me, "No need to be ashamed about that y/n. You were going through a hard time. I'm just glad you're okay now." He paused, "You are okay now, right?"
"I guess so. I haven't meditated at all. I'm still scared to. I know I shouldn't be, but I am." I confessed. "It's okay to be scared, like you told me, we're human." He reminded me. "You're right." I sighed.
He stopped brushing my hair and set the brush down on the sink. "Thank you." I turned to him and smiled. "The pleasure is all mine." He said in a formal voice. I laughed and walked into the bedroom.
I sat in my usual spot on our bed. Anakin took off his shirt and boots, leaving him shirtless. "I hope no one finds us sleeping together." He said as he got into bed. I laid on my side facing him, "Me too. Obi Wan stopped here earlier. Gave me my dress and I told him that we're planning on going to Naboo."
Anakin smiled, "I can't wait to see you in your dress. And for this war to be over." I closed my eyes, "Me too. I would do anything for it to be over." Anakin questioned, "Anything?"
"Well not anything, but you know what I mean." I spoke drowsily. I could hear Anakin say something, but didn't know what. At this point, I was fast asleep.
