I pursued to where I felt closer to my former Master's presence. The connection got stronger as I walked down the long hallway. I stopped when I reached the meditation room.

Only through this I will be strong enough. I reminded myself.

Pressing the button, the door slid open. Her back was to me as she sat on her knees. "I had a feeling you would come." She spoke, still facing away from me. I kept quiet and unsheathed my saber.

"You don't have to do this. It's not too late." She spoke again, making me want to shut her up. "You don't understand. I have to." I replied.

"You have allowed this dark lord to twist your mind. Think about your children, your husband." She stood up and faced me. "I am! Why do you think I made this decision?" I lashed out.

"You seek power, y/n." She spoke calmly as if nothing was affecting her, making me more angry. "What's wrong with that? Not wanting the power to save a family or end a war, that's what wrong with the Jedi. I see through the lies, the deception. The Jedi have never trusted or believed in me. Now I have found someone who does." I expressed.

"I believed in you! I trusted you, y/n!" She exclaimed. "Not enough to convince the Council to!" I yelled back. "I don't believe this. I can't." She spoke softly, almost a whisper. "My Master and I will make things right in the galaxy. Starting with killing the Jedi."

Igniting my saber, she frowned, "You have disappointed me more than anyone could ever have."

"I'm sorry, Shaak Ti." I took a fast step toward her and plunged my saber in her gut. She didn't scream, she didn't cry. Only her eyes reacted. Her painful and dejected eyes met mine and whispered, "How could you?"

Her breathing stopped. Taking out my saber, her lifeless body fell to the floor. I looked at what I did before leaving the scene.

-

"Is it done?" I asked Bodhi. "Yes, Lady Kreia." He answered. Although I didn't want to be referred as that yet, I couldn't help but smile. It's finally happening.

"Secure the Temple. I have something else I must do." I told him and ran out of the Temple. Hopping into my ship, I secured myself in and took off. Behind me, the Temple caught fire in an area causing black smoke to fill the sky.

Out in space, I set the coordinates to Mustafar and took off. As I waited for my arrival, I thought of Anakin and the children.

They're safe now.

I felt comfort in my decision, until I remembered Caleb and Ahsoka. Panic swept through me, making me tempted to go back and lead them to safety or send a message, but I remembered what my new Master said to me.

Coming out of hyperspace, I flew to the lava planet. Flying through the sky, volcanos erupted. I landed on a platform outside the building where the Separatist leaders were hiding.

Getting out of the ship, I raised my hood over my head and walked inside. The door slid open, revealing the Separatists in the command room. "Welcome, Lady Kreia." Viceroy welcomed.

Opening my hand, the doors around the room slid down. The droids acted confused, along with the leaders. Unclipping my saber, I ignited it and sliced through the closest droids.

The leaders panicked and tried to escape. Extending my arm, I formed a tight fist and lifted it, choking and raising a leader off the ground. To my side, a droid shot, but I stopped it with my saber.

Letting go of the dead leader, I sliced through the remaining droids, leaving the leaders to fear me after all they've done. To get my revenge.

Each side of my saber went through two leaders's chests. The last leader opened a door and tried to run out, but I used the force to pull him back to me. "Please! Lord Sidious promised us peace! We only want-" I was tired of his begging, so I slashed my saber through his chest.

Prior to walking out onto the balcony, Darth Kreia looked back at what she did. The hot breeze of Mustafar swept through the room. Her hair was a mess and her eyes flashed from yellow to y/e/c. She could feel her power grow stronger.

Stepping onto the balcony, I watched the lava flow. It was hot, yet I felt cold. Tears fell from my eyes, knowing what I've done. What I've given up and what I've gained.

I heard beeping noises from inside the command center, making me turn my head. I saw the familiar ship land on the platform next to where I landed. Anakin.

Running to him, I ran through the building, then into him arms. "Where are our children?" I asked worried. "They're in the ship. Y/n, the Temple. Was that you?" He questioned, watching me carefully.

"Are Caleb and Ahsoka okay?" I avoided his question. "I don't know. Was that you at the Temple?" He pushed more. "Yes." I admitted.

"How could you?" Anakin stepped back, letting go of me. "No. No, I saved the younglings. I only got rid of the older Jedi. Anakin, they're going against the Republic. The Chancellor told me terrible things." I defended myself.

He shook his head, "You aren't y/n. She would never do this." Stepping closer to him, he refused. "Anakin, it's me. The Jedi were going to betray the Republic. I did what I had to do." I explained.

He stayed quiet. Starting to walk to the ship, Anakin grabbed my arm. "I can't let you do that."

"Anakin, those are our kids. Let me see them." I begged. "Why y/n? Why would you do this?" His eyes became glossier, as if he was about to cry.

"I did this for us. For you, for them!" I pointed to the ship. "He told me if I pledged myself I would be able to save you and the children. And I have! I ended the war and saved our children from dying! My powers are growing, Anakin. I'm becoming stronger than any Jedi. We won't have to live in secret anymore."

"Who's he?" Anakin asked. "The Chancellor." I answered. Anakin was quiet again. "We could rule the galaxy. Make things we want them to be. Both of us are stronger than the Chancellor. He wouldn't stand a chance. We can overthrow him."

Anakin stayed silent, making me angrier. "The Jedi turned against me. Don't you turn against me." I ordered. "Y/n, it's not too late. Come away with me and the children. We can live-" Anakin said.

"Did you not hear anything I said? We don't have to hide." I reminded him. "Please y/n. Come with us." He begged. "Never."

I will never go back to being untrusted, used, lied to.  Weak. I can't and I won't.

"I'm sorry." Anakin sniffled and held something in his hand. Trailing my eyes to see what was in his hand, I frowned. He gripped his lightsaber and held it steady.

"I'm sorry too."
