Chapter 21

"Anakin.." I groaned as I tried to get out of bed. "Not yet." He tightened his arms around me. "We have to get ready." I said.

"Fine." He let go of me and I got up and put my Jedi robe on over my nightgown. Slipping my shoes on I said, "I'll see you at the briefing."

"Whatever.." he spoke in a low and groggy voice, turning on his side away from me. Going over to him, I leaned down and placed my hand on his cheek. "Bye." I pecked his lips and started to walk away, but stopped when he grabbed my arm.

Pulling me on top of him, I practically laid on his lap while he kissed me with passion. He moved his mechanic hand to the back of my neck, gripping it slightly. His other hand was wrapped around my waist.

"Okay, bye." He spoke, stopping suddenly. Getting off of him, I was flushed and hurried to the door, making sure the hallway was clear before I rushed out of his room. I could hear his laughter behind me.

When I reached my room, I took off my shoes and robe. Opening my closest, I grabbed my new clothes I got from Master Shaak Ti off of the hangers. I started to change out of my nightgown into my new outfit.

I slipped the blue shirt and tunic over my head and my black pants. Clipping my black belt around my waist, I attached my lightsaber and put on my black boots.

Taking my hair out of my bun and watching the waves in my hair fall, I decided to keep it down. A knock at my door caught my attention. Opening it, Obi Wan was standing there.

"Hello y/n." He spoke. "Hello Master." I responded as I bowed my head. "I regret to inform you that Count Dooku's invasion on Christophsis has been expedited. We leave tonight." Obi announced.

"Of course it has." Minx will have to wait. "Is the briefing time the same?" He nodded and added, "When you meet your unit you will also meet the clone marshal commander, Bodhi, CT-6521."

"I look forward to it, Master." I said smiling. He stepped closer and whispered, "Also, Anakin has grown very fond of you, y/n, but don't tell him I told you. But be cautious around him, he's very bold." You're telling me.

I replied, "I will Master, thank you." He nodded and smiled at me prior to leaving down the hall. Closing the door I looked at the time, seeing that the briefing is in two hours. Grabbing my robe and my com link and putting it in my pocket, I walked out of my room while I put on my robe, and made my way to the clone's military base.

Parking my speeder, I hopped out and walked to the entrance. Strolling through the building I asked the first clone I saw, "Where are the 87th Sentinel Corp?" He stood straight and tall, "They are preparing for the invasion out on the East side of the airfield, sir." I nodded, "Thank you."

Strolling to the exit, I opened the blast doors, revealing the large base. Admiring the soldiers and equipment, I walked to where the clone trooper told me my unit.

The helmet-less clones noticed me and stopped what they were doing, standing at attention. "At ease." I said and watched their chests fall and relax. "Hello men. I'm General y/n y/l/n." A clone stepped forward and stood straight as he introduced himself, "I am Bodhi, CT-652-"

Cutting him off, I announced to my unit, "From now on, I don't want to hear 'CT' something. I do not care about your number, I care about your name, and that's what you will be referred as."

"Yes sir." They said in unison. Turning my head back to Bodhi I smiled, "It's nice to meet you, Bodhi." He held out his arm and I gripped it.

Meeting my unit, I learned the names and their classes. I helped them prepare for the invasion by carrying supplies to other clones and onto ships. Once we were finished, I looked at the time and had 40 minutes until the meeting.

"It was nice to meet everyone. I will see you all tonight." They said their goodbyes and I walked through the building, back to my speeder.
