Anakin flew to the outer part of Mos Eisley after making contact with his brother, Owen, after a few years. Anakin learned that Owen had married his girlfriend, Beru, not too long ago.
Anakin couldn't help but smile to think of y/n's reaction to their marriage. He knew she thought they were good people since she would always remind him to try to get in touch with them.
Luke's father landed the shuttle by the sandstone underground house where his beloved mother lived for quite some time. He held Luke in his arms throughout the entire flight, refusing to let him go.
He placed Luke on his thigh and held his sides. "There will be a time when we meet again, I promise you." He told the baby. Luke made small noises in response, making Anakin smile.
Anakin kissed him on the head and told the baby, "I love you, Luke." He took a deep breath, then wrapped his arm around Luke and used his free hand to pull the hood over his head. Anakin went to the ship's door and pressed the button, opening it.
Walking down the ramp, he saw Owen and Beru waiting for him. They stood on a tiny sand dune, facing the sunset, then Anakin. The three made eye contact, but Anakin broke it to look at Luke one last time. Anakin engraved the look of his baby in his brain since he will hardly see him again.
Beru came closer to Anakin and stopped in front of him. They didn't say a word. They didn't have to. They knew what to do, Anakin made sure of it. Lifting Luke's head to his lips one last time, Anakin kissed his baby boy goodbye.
Handing Luke to Beru, her eyes lit up as she held him in her arms. She grinned at Anakin before going back to Owen. Owen and Anakin made eye contact again, this time they exchanged nods.
Beru stood on the dune with Luke in her arms and Owen at her side. Turning their bodies to face the binary sunset, Anakin watched them before going back to the ship.
The father of the two twins turned back around to see his son, knowing he will see him again sometime in the future.
Knowing he will see the galaxy's new hope.

Watching the construction through her mask's red lens, Kreia smiled under her mask. Although Anakin and the children died, she couldn't help but smile at her achievement. She had finally gotten what she always wanted at the cost of so many lives.
But she didn't care. Not anymore. Darth Kreia already began shutting out her past life to focus on her new one. Even though she couldn't forget about Anakin and their children, she tried her best to.
The Emperor had other plans. He knew that her rage for what happened will make her stronger. So the Emperor would make sure she would never forget what she did, no matter what. Even if it would cause her into going crazy, or worse.
Admiral Tarkin came up to them and stopped by the Emperor. He whispered something in the Emperor's ear for awhile. Palpatine nodded and Tarkin stepped away from them, going back to work and ordering the Clones around.
The Emperor stayed at her side, grinning at his accomplishment. He has planned this whole thing for many years. Lots of plans and alliances later, Palpatine finally got what he wanted. Power.
As for Kreia, after too many years of torment and deception by the Jedi Council, Darth Kreia also got what she wanted. Respect, trust, and power. But what did it cost her? Everything important to her. And she will have to live with that until the time was right.
Until there was a new hope.
