"Let's go boys!" Clones yelled as they ran off the ship running and shooting at the droids. Grabbing my lightsaber from my belt, I ignited it and deflected shots and started running with the clones.

"What do we do General?" Ben asked as the small batch of clones and I were behind a boulder with my unit was spread out. "Keep firing at the droids and don't die." I told them and ran to the other group of clones while deflecting shots.

"Bodhi," I said squatting down, "get as much of your clones and flank them from the right." He nodded, "Yes General. Let's find our brothers, boys." He said as he began to run low, his clones behind him as they searched for his men. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Anakin and Ahsoka deflecting shots while the clones behind them shot the the droids, slowly making progress.

Raising myself up, I readied my saber and deflected shots that came my way. Damn Separatists. Swiftly making my way back to the clones, I met with Anakin. "Fancy seeing you here." He said as we deflected shots while the clones behind us shot the droids.

"Where your unit?" He asked looking around, still deflecting shots. "We got separated, but a few should be coming soon." I told him as I looked to my right. "General!" Bodhi yelled as he waved his hand. I winked at Anakin and ran to Bodhi and the array of clones behind him.

We knelt behind a rock as blaster shots flew above us, I explained, "I'll do my best defending you guys. You guys are responsible for attacking the droids and making them fall back. Understood?" They nodded and Boom showed me the explosives on his belt making me smirk.

"Let's go." I said getting up. We began the flank and destroy droids as we went. A shot flew past me and hit a clone in the chest. Eli. The feeling of anger and pity increased in my veins, making me more aggressive with my saber.

No good man needs to die from this stupid war. Anakin must've felt something because I saw him watching me. Although we were miles away, I could tell he had worried eyes.

Clones continued to fire and throw explosives as I deflected shots, quicker and harsher. Making the droids pull back, we continued our path. Anakin noticed our progress and did the same as we did.

Moving the Seperatists up into the city, they began to fall back. "Nice work, y/n." Anakin spoke as we shut off our sabers. "Excuse me." I said as I turned around, going back down to where the ships landed. To Eli. The clones seemed to have known where I was going and followed me.

Sitting on my knees, I lifted Eli's head, taking off his helmet, and placing his head in my lap. "We're giving him a memorial." I said as I kept my eyes on his peaceful, sleeping, young face.

"Yes General." Keeping my eyes on Eli I began to zone out, looking down at him. I'm so sorry, Eli. Hearing Bodhi say something snapped me out of my trance, "General, we're ready." My head spun behind me, I saw the grave the clones somehow dug. How long was I zoned out?

Slowly laying Eli's head on the ground, I rose onto my feet. Two clones came and picked him up and set him in his grave carefully. They began to fill the grave with the dirt they dug up.

While they filled the grave, I turned around to see a purple flower standing up in the ground, even after the fight. I walked over to it and squatted down on my heels. Picking it up and holding it in my hand, I stood up and walked back to the clones where I saw Anakin and Ahsoka looking down at the grave.

Standing next to Anakin and the clones, we looked down at the fresh laid dirty and the helmet sitting on it. I bent down and placed the flower next to Eli's helmet. You didn't deserve this.

We stood in silence- not an awkward one, a comforting, mourning one. The clones spoke a little to honor Eli as their friend and a good warrior. "Eli didn't deserve this." I spoke. "No one does." I muttered and Anakin moved closer to me and placed his hand on my shoulder.

I'm here, y/n.

I heard that. Anakin, I heard that?

Looking up at him confused, he looked down at me and was confused as well. We all walked away from the fresh grave and arrived at the base Obi Wan set up in the city. Ahsoka went to talk to Commander Rex, leaving Anakin and I with Obi Wan.

"The Seperatists are on the other side of the city. You'd have a good look up there." He pointed to the tall building. Anakin and I eyed each other and let Obi Wan finish. "The cannons are done and we just sent the ship back for supplies-"

Rumbling and the sound of blaster shots stopped Obi Wan from finishing his sentence. We ran closer to the front lines and saw the Seperatists coming towards us. Clones began running to us and began firing. "They're back!" Anakin yelled as Obi Wan caught up to us.

Bodhi and a few other clones ran to me and waited for orders. "Bodhi, get the men and follow me." I ordered as I ran towards the front. Bodhi and his men caught up with me and propped their guns on the barricade.

Obi Wan, Ahsoka, and I stood in front of the barricade and deflected shots while the clones shot past us. Where's Anakin?

The cannons fired and destroyed some of the droids marching and shooting at us. Yelling to Obi Wan, I asked, "Where's Anakin?" He yelled back, "Don't worry! He has a plan!" Doesn't he always.

In the distance, I saw Anakin jump down from a building onto the droid walker and the clones used their jet packs to land on the ground, shooting the walker.

"Forward!" Obi Wan yelled. Running forward and deflecting shots, adrenaline pumped through my veins. Clones were shot as we ran, but we kept going.

Clashing with the droids, I sung my lightsaber through them and force pushed some back. Standing our ground, Anakin was able to destroy the walker with the other walker. You never fail to impress me.

Anakin deflected shots from another walker while on one. One of its shots was deflected by him and shot towards the droid, destroying it. He jumped down from the droid he was on and cut off its leg, bringing it down with him.

That's my man.
