Chapter 22

"General Kenobi, y/l/n, and Skywalker will take care of the ground assault on Christophsis accompanied by General Skywalker's padawan." Master Windu explained as Anakin eyed me from across the dark room with his arms crossed.

"Due to the lack of clones and Jedi, we must act swiftly and cautiously due to Grievous spreading our forces thin. Admiral Yularen will take four Republic ships to oversee Christophsis and reload immediate supplies."

"Sending supplies on transports, we will." Master Yoda said. "It's settled then. May the force be with us." Mace Windu declared as he turned off the map of Christophsis and the lights turned on. "May the force be with us." Everyone repeated and began leaving the room.

Anakin waited for me by the doorway. "Are you excited?" He asked as I walked out of the room and down the hall. "Hardly." Trying to make our relationship look as if we were just friends, I kept my head forward.

He looked behind us and guessing it was clear, he whispered in my ear, "Come to my room once you get back." We departed, as I walked right, going down a different hallway.

I saw a young girl standing with her back facing me as if she was looking around for someone. She looked like Ahsoka.

"Ahsoka?" I asked her. "Yes? Who are you?" She asked. "I'm y/n y/l/n. I'm one of Anak- Master Skywalker's friends." She smiled, "It's nice to meet you, Master y/l/n. Have you seen Master Skywalker anywhere?"

Pointing down the hallway, I told her, "He went down there. Not exactly sure where though." She groaned and started to walk with me in the other direction, "I'm over him already and it hasn't even been a month." Chuckling, I replied, "I know what you mean."

"Not to sound weird," I asked, "but how old are you?" She replied, "I'm 14, why?"

"I saw you training and I was astonished by your skills. You look as if you are close to have mastered Jar'Kai. It's outstanding." I explained.

She smiled, "Thank you Master." I smiled at her, "Call me y/n."

"Snips! Where were you?" Anakin shouted from behind us down the long hallway. "Where was I? Where were you, Skyguy?" She shouted back. Beginning to laugh I put my fist in front of my mouth and turned around and left, letting them bicker to each other.

Knocking on Anakin's door when the coast was clear, he opened it quick and pulled me in. Shutting the door, he grabbed my face with his hands and pressed his lips against mine. Stopping to take a breath, I spoke, "Hello to you too." He grinned with his beautiful white teeth and kissed me again.

Anakin walked me backwards, pushing me against the wall and stood over me with his strong and tall figure. Putting my arms behind his neck, he grabbed my waist. He began to kiss my neck, making me release a slight moan due to how good it felt.

"I love when you do that." He said against my neck and started to nibble and kiss my neck lightly. Anakin went back to kissing my lips again with a mix of love and lust.

He stopped and leaned his forehead against mine. "I love your new outfit." Smiling I responded, "Thank you." Stepping away from each other, Anakin turned around and laid himself on the bed and looked at me while patting the spot next to him.

Laying my head down on his chest, he played with my hair. "How was it with your unit?" He asked. Closing my eyes I replied, "It was good. I told them I don't want to hear their numbers, just their names, then I helped them finish preparing for the mission."

"Are you excited for later?" He asked. "You asked me that earlier." I said. "I know."

Sighing, I replied, "No. I don't think I'll be able to handle it Anakin; the death." Anakin stopped playing with my hair and placed his hands on my cheeks and kissed my forehead, "I know it'll be hard, but you and your men are strong. You'll have to get through it. Just because someone dies doesn't mean you can give up on the ones alive. If you do, you would have already killed them."

"You're right." I sighed, "Jedi aren't supposed to be soldiers Anakin." He went back to brushing his fingers through my hair, "I know, y/n."
