After I talked to Yoda, I told Caleb I'd message him if we needed to do anything, then went to the library. Shortly after I was done reading in the Jedi library, I decided to go to Anakin's room and see if he was home. Going back outside, I hopped into a random speeder and drove to the apartments. Parking my speeder by the others, I made my way inside the building.

Strolling through to the elevator, a small amount of Jedi roamed the halls. That'll change. I smiled to myself thinking of Caleb and I's accomplishment. Once I reached the elevator, I pressed the button and waited.

'Prepare yourself to let go.' Yoda's words stuck with me. "Let go of what?" I asked quietly to myself. The elevator dinged and the door slid open revealing no one inside. Walking in, the doors began to close. Before I pressed the button 6, a yell stopped me.

An arm shot through the door and a man stepped inside the elevator. He doesn't look familiar. "Sorry, I'm running a little late." He said with a sincere smile. "It's okay, I understand how that is." I said smiling to him. He had brown hair and green eyes. He was wearing a tunic and a vest, different from a Jedi's clothes. I pressed the button first, then he pressed his. Level 10. That's Padmé's level.

"I'm Rush Clovis." He held out a hand. Taking it, I replied, "I'm y/n y/l/n." He smirked and kissed the back of my hand, "It's good to meet you, y/n." I felt my face become flustered. Was he flirting with me?

Even though he wasn't as attractive as Anakin, I couldn't help but blush. Not many men flirt with me or find me attractive. "Thank you, Rush." His eyes met mine, "My friends call me Clovis." I nodded, "Thank you Clovis." The elevator dinged and the door opened. Walking out, I heard him say behind me, "I hope to see you again." Turning around I responded, "You will, Senator."

"How'd you know?" He asked quickly. I shrugged, "I can always tell who's a Politician." He smirked and the doors closed, making me continue my path to Anakin's room. Jedi and Politicians roamed through the halls, making me push the thought of sprinting to his room to the back of my mind.

Reaching his room, I knocked on the metal door. Impatiently, I kept thinking after every second, answer, answer, answer, answ-. The door slid open and exposed a shirtless Anakin with messy hair. I calmly walked inside and took off my robe and set it on the chair, but as soon as the door closed I hugged him firmly. His arms slid around my waist and held me tight.

"I've missed you, y/n." He said with his head on my shoulder. "I've missed you too, Anakin." I told him with my head against his chest. His skin was smooth and warm, it was comforting. We stood in silence for a few minutes. "I'm sorry I look bad, I was sleeping." He said breaking away from the hug, but held my arms.

I shook my head, "You're fine Anakin. And you never look bad." He smirked down at me and picked me up, "You're right." Wrapping my legs around his waist, he carried me to the bed and laid me down gently. Anakin positioned himself over me and began kissing me.

His lips touched mine and I began kissing back. I felt something in between my legs. Oh no. The kiss deepened, making me crave more. My hands interlocked with his somewhat short hair. Anakin moved down from my lips to my neck, kissing his way there. I felt a suck on my neck. Lifting myself up onto my elbows, I stared at him.

"You didn't." I said in a serious tone. He looked at me and smirked, "I did." He tried to lay me down again, but I pushed him away and stood up, making my way to the bathroom. Moving my hair, I looked at the spot forming on my neck. Anakin walked in and stood behind me.

"Why would you do that?" I scolded him through the mirror. His eyes filled with lust stared at me through the mirror. "I'm sorry, y/n. I didn't know you wouldn't like it." He said. "Don't be sorry. It's not that I don't like it, Anakin. It's just that we aren't being careful. This can't happen." I explained calmer, pointing at my neck.

He replied, "I know." He sighed, "You're just intoxicating, y/n. It's just you. My love for you is too much for me. And I hate myself for betraying the code, but I can't hide my feelings. Like you said, I'm human."

"I understand, Anakin. I love you too, but we can't do anything jurassic." I looked down at the sink. A minute went by and Anakin grabbed my arm. He turned me around and led me out to his balcony. We stood outside in the night and faced each other.

"What are you doing? Why are we out here?" I asked as the breeze blew on my hair. Anakin held my hands and began to speak, "Y/n y/l/n, we've known each other since we were kids. We were best friends back then, but now we're more than that. Ever since we have departed, I couldn't stop thinking about you. I still can't stop thinking about you, and it's driving me insane. My love for you is strong, and I'd risk anything for you. I love you, y/n. I will always love you." He got down on one knee and held out a necklace. "Y/n, will you marry me?"

My mouth dropped and stared at him. Oh my god. What did he just say? Coming back to reality, tears formed in my eyes and began sliding down my cheeks. "Yes. Yes! Yes!" I yelled louder than anticipated and hugged him. He quickly broke away and put his finger to his lips. We went inside and he closed the door to the balcony and closed the curtains.

He came back to me and I grabbed his face and pulled him in. Breaking away from our kiss, I breathed, "I love you Anakin Skywalker." Although our eyes were shut I could feel his smile, "I love you y/n y/l/n, or soon to be Skywalker." Smiling, I kissed him again.
