The sun peeked through my window, waking me up. Checking my com link on my night stand, I received a message to arrive to the council in an hour. Confused that I didn't hear it go off, I lifted myself out of bed and walked to my closet.
I put on my grey tunic and tucked it into my black pants and garnet. Putting on my brown utility belt, I clipped my lightsaber to it and grabbed my brown Jedi robes. Grabbing my hair, I put it into a low bun.
Leaving my room, I closed the door behind me. Strolling through the halls, I saw that there weren't as many people as normal. Making my way outside, I sat inside of a speeder and drove off to the Temple.
When I arrived, I parked the speeder next to everyone else's and made my way inside. Going to the council's room, I looked at the time and saw I was 20 minutes early.
To pass time I decided to go to the library. Going on the computer I chose to research previous Jedi and Sith in the Old Republic. One person stood out to me as I looked through the names. "Arcann, son of Senya Tirall and Valkorion, the 'immortal emperor.'" Continuing on, I read that Arcann had a twin brother named Thexan and that they fought side by side together.
"In the Attack on Korriban, Arcann was caught in an explosion which led to his arm being taken off and scarring his side of his face." Poor guy. "Arcann attempted to kill Valkorion, but his brother intervened. They fought and led to the killing of his brother, Thexan." I read.
How could someone kill their own brother?
Looking at the time, I had 7 minutes until the meeting so I turned off the computer and walked to the council's room. They allowed me in and seemed disappointed. "Late, young Skywalker is." Yoda said while sitting on his chair.
Anakin hurried into the room and announced, "I apologize. I was caught up." The council looked at each other and turned their heads back to us, starting to speak. "You both are to go back to Naboo to take care of Senator Amidala." Mace Windu said as he leaned forward in his chair.
We nodded and Master Ki Adi Mundi chimed in, "You will leave tonight and stay there until we inform you to come back. Her protection is needed more than ever."
"Yes, Masters." We bowed to them, then left the room.
"Are you excited to go back to Naboo?" Anakin asked me as we walked through the hallway. "Yes. Are you?" I turned my head to him.
"Yeah. I just feel bad for leaving her last time." I stopped him and told him, "Anakin, it was your mother and Padmé understood. Don't beat yourself up over it."
"You're right." He took a deep breath as we continued to walk through the halls.

Across from the room, my com link went off. Reading the name, I opened the message. "Y/n I have an emergency. Get to my room now." Anakin said, making me worry. Rushing out the door, I hurried through the hall to get to his room.
When I arrived I kept knocking until he opened the door. "Are you okay?" I asked worried. He pulled me into his room and closed the door. Looking at him confused, he grabbed my face and pressed his tender lips against mine.
Pulling away I leaned my forehead again his, "Was that the emergency?" His beautiful smile appeared on his lips, "It was." He pulled me in and kissed me again.
