"Jeez.." Anakin held his hand to his head. "What is it?" I asked as I folded my clothes and put them in my closet. "Ever since we got back from Mortis, I've had horrible pains." He explained. "Have you asked Yoda?" I questioned.
Anakin shook his head, "No, I don't need Yoda to know why. Everyday the pain has gotten worse since we came back. I have to go to Mortis and kill the Son, put the Force back into balance." Anakin sighed.
"I'm coming with you." I declared. "No, stay here. You have to train with Caleb, especially with your new sabers. This is something I have to do alone. I'll be fine, I promise." Anakin stood up from the bed and held my arms and rubbed them.
"If anything happens, you must tell me. I'll come as fast as possible." I ordered. Anakin gave me a smile and cupped my cheek, "I will. Don't miss me too much, beautiful."
"Shut up." Leaning my cheek into his palm, I smiled. Anakin leaned down and kissed me softly. "I have to go tell the council." Anakin walked towards the door and stopped, "I love you."
"I love you too." Anakin left the room, leaving me alone. Taking a deep breath, I decided to go to the training room later.
-
"Let's duel." I told Caleb. "Are you sure?" He asked. Putting my staff on the wall, I said, "Yes. I think it'll be good for both of us."
"Alright." Holding out my hand, Caleb gave me his staff and I put it on the wall. Sensing that he was nervous, I assured him, "Caleb, be calm. You'll be fine. All we're doing is easy lightsaber combat, nothing extreme."
"Okay, but if I get hurt you owe me." He unclipped his lightsaber from his belt. Doing the same as him, I laughed, "Okay. Are you ready?" Caleb nodded and turned his blue lightsaber on.
Flipping the switches, my blades extended from each end of the long hilt. Spinning my saber from one hand to the other, I prepared myself for him to strike first.
Caleb lunged and struck his saber with one end of my weapon. Using the other end, I swung towards him. Dodging my shot, Caleb swung around me, allowing me to find an opening. Swiftly, I kicked his jaw lightly and split my lightsabers into two.
Stumbling back, Caleb held his jaw then came at me again. Holding one saber up to meet his, I used my other saber to swing by his stomach. He jumped over me and landed behind me. Quickly turning around, I blocked his strike with both of my sabers.
Suddenly, I felt nauseous. Brushing it off, I continued to fight. Caleb swung his weapon over his head and brought it down on my saber. Pushing him away, I swung my sabers at him.
Caleb shuffled to my side and kicked the side of my stomach with a flat foot, making me fall to the floor. Instantly, the nausea came back. "Caleb, you fought well, but I have to stop. I think I'm sick." I stood up and turned my sabers off. Clipping them onto my belt, I went to the door.
"Master, was it something I did?" Caleb asked as she turned his weapon off. "No, you were doing amazing. I'm very proud of you, Caleb. Excuse me." Hurrying out the door, I ran to the closest bathroom in the Temple.
Closing the door to the stall behind me, I fell to my knees and threw up my breakfast that consisted of fruit in the toilet. Sitting back on my butt, I wiped my hot forehead and put my hair in a low bun. Taking deep breaths, I got up once I felt okay.
Flushing the toilet and coming out of the stall, I washed my hands and made my way outside. Walking to the speeders, the sun sat on the horizon. Hopping into a speeder, I drove to the apartments through the heavy traffic.
Once I got to the other apartments, I went to the elevator and headed to Padmé's room. Going up the elevator, I fixed my tunic and let my hair loose. The elevator stopped and the door dinged open.
Walking through the halls, I reached her room and knocked. Padmé opened the door and smiled, "Hello, y/n." I smiled, "Hi, Padmé." Padmé moved out the way and said, "Come in."
Walking inside, the door closed behind me. "Is there something you need?" Padmé asked as she sat on the couch. Her baby bump is showing now.
"I just wanted to see how you're doing with the pregnancy." I sat down and put my hands in my lap. "I've been good. Nothing too serious yet, but it's hard some days. Clovis has been a great help." She placed her hands on her stomach.
"Do you know the gender yet?" I questioned. Padmé smiled, "He's a boy." Gasping, I replied, "That's amazing! Congratulations!" Padmé laughed, "Thank you very much, y/n. Honestly, we were positive the baby was gonna be a girl."
"That's fantastic. I'm so happy for you and Clovis. You'll be great parents." I stood up and hugged Padmé. Then, the nausea hit again. "I'm sorry, I have to go. Congratulations, once again!" I hurried to the door. "Thank you, y/n." Padmé smiled.
Practically running out the door, I ran to the bathrooms. Not having time to close the door behind me, I threw up in the toilet with the door opened. Wrenching what felt like my guts out, I held my hair back.
When I was done, I stood up and flushed the toilet. Washing my hands once again, I walked out of the bathroom and went down the elevator and outside to the speeders. Flying to the Jedi's apartments, the traffic was lighter and the sun was almost completely set.
-
Back in my room, I took a shower and put on one of Anakin's shirts and my loose pants. Laying on the bed, I began having cramps and back pain. "The hell." I whispered to myself.
Today played back in my head, making me question why I've been sick. Then, the thought hit me.
Am I pregnant?
