After I talked with the Chancellor, I made my way to see my former Master before we left. Once we met up, Master Shaak Ti and I strolled the halls of the Temple. "Is something troubling you, y/n?" Shaak Ti asked.

I sighed, "Does the council trust me?" She looked at me weirdly, "Yes, why? What's making you question our trust?"

"The Chancellor told me things. He said that they offered General Skywalker the rank of master and told him the war will be ending at some point soon." I explained.

She let out a breath, "What he's saying is right. We suspect the war will end soon, but the dark presence is clouding our vision, so we aren't certain. And yes, we did offer Skywalker a spot on the council after the war."

"But why? Am I not eligible?" My voice raised into suspicion. "It's not that, y/n. We're worried for you, uncertain of where you stand."

"You guys think I'm a Separatist?" I shouted. "Y/n, lower your voice please." She pleaded. "No! I am infuriated right now! You think I'm a Separatist even though I've been fighting alongside the Republic for almost two years!"

"What's wrong?" Anakin reached out through the force, making me calm down only a little. "I'm leaving." I began walking towards the doors that led outside. "Y/n-" I kept my head forward, "Please, don't."

-

Back at the apartments, I stormed into my room. My whole body was aching from anger. Stomping around my room, I heard a knock at the door. "It's me." Anakin said from the hall. Opening the door, I waited for him to come in.

"What's wrong?" He asked. "Why didn't you tell me about getting an offer to join the council?" I questioned. Anakin sat on the bed, "I was gonna wait to tell you. I'm sorry."

"You're fine." I said. "Then what's wrong? You're fuming." I threw my hands up in the air, "The council! They don't trust me, still! After all I've done for those fuckers! I've fought alongside them and the Republic for almost two years! They're unbelievable!"

"Y/n, calm down. I understand you're upset, but you must take in account of what the council is thinking right now. They're fighting a war and we're all vulnerable." I laughed, "You have it easy, Chosen One."

"Not particularly. I know what you're feeling y/n. They've been strict on me since I was 9. Do you remember all the times I was taken away from class at the end of the day? I left to go train, there were no exceptions."

"I'm sorry, Anakin. I'm just so angry. It's not fair!" I groaned. "I know it's not, but we'll get through it." Anakin stood up and walked to me. He placed his hands on my waist and smiled down at me, "Once this war is over, we'll go away."

"Where?" I asked. "Anywhere you'd like. We could have a family, a normal life." He explained. I smiled, "That sounds nice." He kissed my forehead, "Someday."

I noticed the time and hurried, "We have to go. I completely forgot!" Anakin chuckled, "Alright then." I went to the door and told Anakin, "Hurry up." We ran out the door, not caring what or who saw us run out of my room.

As we ran, it almost felt as if our lives were normal. Like we were free of war. Free of the Republic.

We hurried outside and jumped into a speeder. Taking control, I sped towards the military base, zooming past traffic. I could feel Anakin's panic and excitement.

"You're a mad woman!" He yelled at I sped past speeders. "You should know this by now!" I laughed.

-

"I'm so sorry we're late Obi Wan." I said once I caught up to him with Anakin. "We had some things to sort out with the mission." I lied. "Hm, alright. Let's get a move on." He said with his eyebrow raised.

We walked into the ship and sat in the cockpit. Anakin was in the pilot's seat, Obi Wan sat behind Anakin, and I was in the co pilot's seat.

Taking off, Anakin took us into space. "Set a course to Mortis." Anakin said. Putting in the coordinates, I said once they were in the computer, "They're set."

Anakin pulled down the lever and sent us into hyperspace. We spun our chairs to Obi Wan. "Have any of you been to Mortis?" I asked. They shook their heads no. "I don't think anyone lives there either." Obi Wan said. "This'll be fun." Anakin commented.

We jumped out of hyperspace. Expecting to see the Jedi cruiser, there was nothing expect stars and space. "That's weird. Let me contact Bodhi." I said.

Sending a transmission request to the cruiser, they answered. "Bodhi? Can you hear me?" Bodhi replied, "Yes General. Where are you?"

"We're at the rendezvous point. You guys aren't here yet?" I questioned. "No General, we're here. We have no sign of you on our scanners." Bodhi said. "That's impossible." Anakin stated.

"Somethings wrong. We're at the exact coordinates where the signal came from, but nothing is here. And Bodhi is also here, but not." I said.

"This is getting interesting." Obi Wan commented. The transmission began cutting out as Bodhi spoke, "Unable to find you. Where are you sir?"

"Something's blocking the signal." Obi Wan said, then the ship's power went out. Clicking on the controls, nothing happened. "This isn't good." I stated.

"Everything's dead. Even the life support." Obi Wan noted. "This is really strange." Anakin said. Just then, the power started back up.

"There. See? Nothing to be worried about after all." Obi Wan tried reassured us. Keeping my gaze ahead of me, I asked, "Then what's that?"

Anakin and Obi Wan shifted their focus outside. A dark, crimson glowing pyramid floated as if it was a planet. The ship jerked and began beeping as the pyramid's gravitational pull forced our ship to move towards it.

Moving in quickly, the pyramid's top and bottom layers moved apart, creating a bright, white light. "Strap yourselves in. Looks as though we're going for a ride." Obi Wan said.

Going in deeper, the white light filled the ship. Putting my hand in front of my eyes, the light completely overtook my vision of everything.
