Chapter 23

"Y/n, are you and your troops ready?" Master Mace Windu asked as we stood outside of the Republic cruiser. "Yes Master." Mace kept his serious expression on his face, "May the force be with you." Even in laughable or sad situations, he was serious. It was kind of depressing. "May the force be with you as well."

Climbing up the ramp onto the large ship, I saw Anakin and Ahsoka a few feet away outside of their ship. Anakin winked and I rolled my eyes. Watching everyone else get into the other cruisers lined up beside one another, the doors closed. The huge ships hovered off the ground and took off into space.

Once we went into hyperspace, I went over and talked to my unit. They were cleaning their guns and putting the supplies in order. "This isn't gonna be an easy fight guys, we have to keep our guards up. Who knows what those droids are planning." Sam yelled, "Let's show them clankers what we're made of!" His comment influenced cheering among the others.Smiling at their enthusiasm, I left them and headed for the command center. 

Walking through the doors, clones stood at attention. "At ease." I told them as I approached Admiral Dran. It felt weird to have that much respect shown to me. Honestly, I enjoyed it.

"Anything new?" He shook his head, "Nothing yet." Looking out the window, a clone announced to us, "Incoming transmission from Admiral Yularen." Hes on Anakin's ship. We turned around and walked to the table.

Admiral Dran answered it, "Admiral Dran the Seperatists have just landed on the planet." He put his hand to his chin and stroked his face, "Thank you, Admiral." He send, ending the transmission. "I'll go tell my men." I announced as I rushed out the door.

Back in the hangar, I hurried to my unit. "The Seperatists have just landed on Christophsis." They all looked at me, "What's the plan, General?"

"We're landing into a forest that's not too far from the city. Once we get to the city we will set up a base and separate into two groups. Boghi will lead one and I will lead the other as we switch positions watching for any suspicious activity until the actual fighting starts."

"I just can't wait to destroy clankers." Traq declared causing everyone agree. A voice over the intercom announced, "Coming out of hyperspace to Christophsis." The slight jerk of the ship indicated that we were here. "Get ready. I'll be right back."

Running into the command center, I searched for Admiral Dran, until I looked outside and saw hundreds of Seperatist vulture droids. Towards the planet, there was a blockade with thirty ships. "We'll take care of that." I told him as I rushed back.

Running to them, I began to give orders. "There's a blockade of thirty ships around Christophsis and we have to take them out. Frat, Boom, Jugger, Zane, Jax, Eli, Crash, and Tucker, you're coming with me." I declared as I ran to my ship.

Climbing in, I turned on the controls and turned on the communication button. I put on the headset, "Be careful boys." We took off out of the hangar and flew towards the ships.

Receiving a transmission, I turned off my communication, so no one else could hear, and answered it. "Anakin?" His surroundings looked like he was in a ship. "To your left." Turning my head to my left, I saw him waving at me with Obi Wan to his left also. I smirked, "Whoever destroys the most droids gets a prize." Anakin raised an eyebrow, "What prize?"

"I don't know yet, but we'll come up with something." I ended the transmission prior to the vulture droids started flying at us. Turning the communication back on, I heard the clones from all units speaking to each other. "I got one!" One yelled. "Nice job, Ras." Another replied.

Starting to shoot and destroy the droids, I heard, "I got one on my tail!" A clone replied, "I got you Gabe!" The clone yelled before he cut out, "It's too late!"

Destroying more droids, I heard Obi Wan say over the communication, "The ships are shielded by the Lucrehulk ship in the middle. Someone can fly in by going through the middle and landing into the control room and shoot it, then we'd be able to take out the ships."

Anakin replied, "I'll do it. Cole and Shot cover me." Still focusing on the droids, I had one shooting behind me. "General y/n, ones behind you." Boom yelled.

Spinning my ship so I was behind the droid, I sent blasts at it, destroying it. "Nice shot General!" He laughed. Ahead of us, more droids came.

"Round 2!" A clone chuckled. As we destroyed more vulture droids, more clones were killed. "Eli! Behind you!" Jugger yelled. "I can't shake him!" Eli replied before cutting out with a scream.

More droids came flying past me allowing me to destroy some. "Look at the Lucrehulk!" A clone yelled. Turning my head, I saw the ship start to explode from the inside. Anakin's success was cheered about. "There he goes, always blowing something up." Obi Wan spoke.

The Republic's star destroyers began firing onto the blockade. Their ships exploded and started to fall, allowing us to get through to Christophsis.
