It's been five months. Five months of the council not knowing what is wrong with me. Five months of carrying Anakin and I's unborn child in secret. Five months of Anakin making sure I'm okay. Five months of training with Caleb. Five months of freedom from the visions.

"Anakin?" I asked. "Yes?" He continued to rub my belly. "I want to have the baby on Naboo. Right by the lake, away from everyone." I smiled at the thought.

"That sounds perfect." He grinned, "We could buy a house. If we combined our credits, I'm sure we would have enough." The excitement in his voice rose. "I'd like that."

Throughout my pregnancy, I have puked more times than I can count. I had to get bigger clothes to hide my bump. Also, I eat way more.

We laid together, staring at the ceiling. I heard the speeders zoom by the covered window. Anakin pulled me closer to him and stroked my hair.

"I love you." He spoke. "I love you too." I responded. We laid in silence, embracing each other for awhile. Then, I grabbed his hands and moved them down to my stomach. "We have to start thinking of names."

"You're right. What about Anakin Jr?" He insisted. "No." I replied. "Fine. Girl or boy?"

"Girl." Anakin hummed, "What about Leia?"

Leia Skywalker.

"I really like that. What about if the baby is a boy?" I questioned. "You pick. I already came up with great one." He said proudly. "What about... Luke?"

Luke Skywalker.

"Luke.. I like that. I really like that." I could feel his grin. "Luke or Leia." I said. "The little ass kicker of the galaxy." Anakin added, making me laugh.

Situating myself on my side, I turned off the light and whispered, "Goodnight." Anakin kissed my cheek and laid down, "Goodnight, y/n."

-

The urge of throwing up my dinner made me run out of bed and to the toilet. Vomiting up whatever was left in me, Anakin came in the room. His feet pattered against the tile as he came closer to me.

"It's alright." He spoke in a sleepy voice as he held my hair up and rubbed my back. Sweat formed on my forehead from the heat I felt. Placing my head on my arm, I said, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wake you."

"Don't be sorry." He yawned and grabbed a hair band and put my hair in a bun. Anakin sat down next to me and continued to rub my back as I hurled into the toilet.

When I felt like I was done, I stood up and flushed the toilet. Anakin held onto me as I did. "Hopefully that doesn't happen again." He said while we went back to our bed.

"Tell me about it." I yawned. Anakin made sure I was comfortable in bed before climbing in next to me.

"Goodnight beautiful."

"Goodnight."

-

"Y/n, I have to go." Anakin whispered in my ear. "Why?" I groaned. "Obi Wan and the council need to see me. I'll be back." He spoke softly. "Okay." I kept my eyes closed and stayed on my side.

"Love you slug." He kissed my cheek. His hair tickled against my face. "Don't call me that." I couldn't help it when my lips formed into a smile. "But you're a cute slug. Not like Jabba." Anakin cringed.

"Shut up."

"I'll see you at the Senate meeting later?" He asked. "Sure." I yawned. "Alright. I love you." Anakin chuckled. He moved my hair out of my face and behind my shoulder. "I love you too." I heard Anakin's faint footsteps and the door opening and closing prior to attempting to go back to sleep.

After at least twenty minutes of trying I gave up. I slowly got up and walked to the bathroom. Going to the bathroom and washing my hands, I cupped water in my palms and splashed my face.

Wiping the water off with a towel, I walked back out to the bedroom and towards my closet. I opened the doors and pulled out my clothes that hung from the hangars and began changing into them.

Once I was changed, I put on my robes and made my way outside the building. Going to the group of speeders, I went into one and made my way to the Senate building.

Driving through the traffic, other speeders zoomed past while others were chased by the police. Once I reached the temple, I parked the speeder. Hopping out of the vehicle, I stopped myself and looked out towards the city.

Admiring the busy and loud city ahead of me, I heard someone next to me. "Beautiful, isn't it?" Turning my head, I saw the Chancellor next to me. "Hello Chancellor." I nodded my head.

"Hello y/n. The city is lovely, but best at sunset if I say so." He said. "How have you been?" I asked. "I've been occupied, kept busy. And you?"

"Truthfully, I've been.. uneasy." We turned around and walked towards the entrance of the building. "Why so?" He questioned.

We walked inside the Senate building. His guards came up to us, but he shooed them away. "My belief in the council has been shaken. There's also been some personal matters I have had to.. attend to."

"I see.. Well, dear friend, I will be here if you need anything." He gave me a smile. "Thank you, Chancellor." I smiled back as we went further into the building.

We stopped by the doors that lead inside the Senate voting room. "I'm afraid I have to depart now. It was nice talking to you, y/n." He nodded. "You as well." I smiled.

Heading upstairs, I met with Master Mace Windu, Yoda, and Anakin. We watched the Senate vote on the situation from a doorway outside of the room.

-

"It's settled then. The treaty will resume with the Banking Clan until they shake the Republic's trust again." Mace Windu announced.

I looked at Anakin with concerned eyes, but he lightly shook his head. I expressed anyways, "This is stupid by the politicians. How can they trust the Banking Clan after all the mistrust we've received from them?"

"Enough. We will not involve ourselves in politics. That is simply not what we do." Mace Windu declared.

Pushing my back off the wall, I left the three behind. Anakin ran up to me and walked with me. "You're fiery today." He spoke. "The stupidity of people does that to someone." I replied.

Walking down the steps, Anakin stopped me. "You have to calm down. I know you're angry, I can feel it, but you have to be mindful y/n. You're going down a dangerous path with your emotions."

"Well maybe if the politicians weren't stupid that wouldn't happen." I responded. Starting to go down the steps again, Anakin grabbed my arm and stopped me. "Please. Y/n we have to be careful right now."

"I am careful. I just don't want to live in a government where we are manipulated by people who use us for our power. I'm thinking about the future of the Republic. Our future." I told him. I released myself from his grip and made my way back home.
