Chapter 65

Anakin closed the door behind him as he entered my hospital room. "Hey beautiful." He came up next to me. "Hi." I smiled.

This was the first time Anakin came to see me since we came back to Coruscant. When we got back, I was taken to the med bay while Anakin had to give a report to the council and talk to the politicians. It's been three days since. So far no one has found out about my pregnancy.

"How are you feeling?" He sat down on the edge of the chair beside my bed and held my hand. I watched him draw small figures. "Better. How are you?"

"What were you gonna tell me?" He blurted. My eyes met his desperate ones. I sat myself up and took a deep breath. "Anakin.." I held onto his hand and paused. "I'm pregnant."

Anakin's facial expression went from eager to shocked. "I- that- that's amazing." He stuttered then breathed out a chuckle. "What are we gonna do?" Anakin sat up and kissed my forehead, "We're not going to worry about that right now. This is the best day of my life." His lips formed a toothy grin. "I love you, y/n." Anakin kissed the back of my hand. "I love you too, Anakin."

"Breathe Caleb." I told him as he levitated. "You need to breathe, if you don't you'll die." Suddenly, Caleb fell from the air along with the rocks beside him. "Come on!" He groaned as he got up. "Patience. You need patience and focus if you are to become a Master."

"Master, no offense, but I haven't seen you try this. Nor is anyone distracting you." Caleb said. I hummed, "I guess you're right."

It has been a month since I told Anakin I was pregnant. Ever since, he has checked up on me way more and made sure I was being careful when I would train. I visited Padmé often. She only has a few months left.

Sitting down on the ground, I closed my eyes and sat criss crossed. Making my breathing neutral, I whispered, "Be with me."

I felt myself lift off the ground and Caleb's disturbance. "Master! Don't fall!" He exclaimed, trying to distract me. Ignoring him, I focused on the force.

That's when it all hit me. The feelings of pain, suffering, death. Faint screams and explosions filled my head along with heavy breathing. Opening my eyes, I was in the same black room I was in previous visions.

"I'm sorry." Anakin spoke behind me. Turning to see him, I saw his eyes were a yellow and red. "I had to. For you, for our child." He stepped closer. Backing away, I shook my head.

I stopped when my foot hit something. Facing the object I hit, I saw Ahsoka and Caleb laying on the ground, lifeless. "No." I fell to my knees and shook them. "This isn't real." I reminded myself.

"It isn't?" A voice next to me asked. Turning my head, a figure in black robes stood. Looking back at Caleb and Ahsoka, they were gone. "What is this?" I asked. "What happens if you don't join me." He snarled.

"What do you mean?" I stood up and faced him. "You won't be able to save them. Not without me." The man disappeared into the air. Then, the sounds of vicious screams filled my head. Dropping to my knees, I held my head and heard his voice once more, "Save them."

"Y/n!" Caleb yelled. Shooting up, I looked at my surroundings, then Caleb. "Are you okay?" He asked. "What happened?"

"You started shaking. Then you fell and screamed. What did you see?" Caleb questioned. "I- I don't know. I have to go talk to Yoda." I scrambled up from the ground and ran to my speeder.

"Master Yoda. May I speak with you?" Yoda turned around from his group of younglings and walked out to me. "What is troubling you, young y/l/n?"

"I had the visions again. Caleb and I were training and he wanted me to try to meditate with him, so I did. And I thought the visions would've gone away by now, but I was wrong."

Yoda hummed, "Very disturbing, this is. Meditate on this, I will. For now, focus on the light, you must." Are you kidding me.

"Yes Master." I bowed before leaving. Anger and frustration rose as I made my way back home- to Anakin.

"Half of the time, no most, I don't think the Masters know what they're talking about. 'Meditate' is their only answer. My stars, all they tell me is to wait and they'll meditate. I can't wait any longer. I want to know why these are the visions I see. Cant they just give me a clear answer?" I ranted to Anakin.

Anakin moved strands out of my face, "All I can say is don't let it get to you. The council will find out this mystery soon enough." I groaned, "Yeah, but for how long?" He shrugged, "Until the time is right, I suppose."

I kept my gaze at the ceiling while Anakin kept his on me. "You have a problem." I smiled. "I'm sorry. Do you want me to stop?" He asked.

Looking at him, I laughed, "No, it's fine. It's just you have been doing that since we reunited." He grinned, "One of the best days I could have ever asked for." Rolling my eyes, I replied, "Sure."

Anakin chuckled and kissed my lips. "I mean it." He breathed out. Placing my hand on his jaw, I kissed him back.

"What are we gonna do about our baby?" I asked. "Well, what if we run away? From the order and the war? We could live in an isolated spot on Naboo and raise him or her." Anakin proposed.

"I can't just leave everyone and everything behind. What if the Republic loses the war? Then what?" I questioned. He shrugged and kissed my forehead, "We'll come up with something, we always do."

"Join me.." A faint voice echoed. The same voice from the visions. "What do you want?" I yelled into the air.

"I want your help to end this war. To save your friends. Your family. If you don't, they will all die."

"Who are you?"

"You will find out soon enough,"

Shooting up, I gasped for air and looked at Anakin who was quietly snoring beside me. Draping my legs over the bed, I rubbed my face and went to the bathroom.

Turning the faucet on, I cupped the water in my hands and brought it to my face. Taking deep breaths, I couldn't help but think about what he was saying.

I turned the faucet off and went back to the bed. Laying myself back down, I stayed up all night considering my options.
