The next day, Anakin went to meet his regiment early in the morning. Master Shaak Ti requested to see me, waking me up with the beeping from the com link. When I was ready, I met her at the Jedi Temple.

"The Jedi council is debating on making you a General y/n." My old master informed me. "But?" There was always a downside to everything. "But, they don't know if you're stable enough. With your visions they're questioning their decision. They sense the dark side near you."

"But that's not fair!" I yelled quietly, mindful of the other Jedi walking past us. "I can't control them. Why are they punishing me for something I can't control?"

"I know you're frustrated y/n. I am too with their doubt in you even though you're more than qualified, but we can't question the council. I'm sorry." I sighed, "I'm sorry Master. It's been.. stressful lately."

"How has your time with General Skywalker been?" I responded, "It's been nice. We've been catching up and he has been very kind and helpful." It's true, has has been very kind to me. So I wasn't really lying to her.

"That's good to hear. I'm glad you're talking. I do hope nothing extreme happens between you both though. I know you had feelings for him as a child." Painting an uninterested expression I reassured her, "Nothing will happen Master. Anakin and I have sworn our lives to the Order. Besides, I was a child. Our relationship is strictly professional." She nodded, "That's good to hear." We continued our walk.

Making my way back to my apartment, I saw Anakin talking to Padme. Why is she here? Pushing my thoughts out of my head, I pursued to my room. Before I closed the door, Anakin came in front of me. Allowing him in my room, I asked, "What were you talking to Padme about?"

"She asked how it went this morning. Why?" Shrugging, I said, "Just wondering." He smirked, "Are you jealous?" Astonished, I answered, "No. Why would I be?" He kept his smirk, "I was just wondering." Rolling my eyes I asked, "So?"

"So what?" He played dumb. "How's your legion?" I asked in an excited tone. "It's great actually. The clones are very respectful and they follow orders without complaining. They have a very good understanding of battle techniques and strategies. There's also their commander. His name is Rex and he's pretty cool. How great is that?" I laughed, "It sounds great Anakin. I met Rex on Geonosis when I fell out of the ship."

"He said something about that. He says sorry, by the way." He smiled for a brief moment. I felt something was off. "What's wrong?"

"We leave in a week." Anakin answered in a softer tone. "Do you know when you'll come back?" He shook his head, "No. I just know we're going to Christophsis." I placed my hand on his, "I'll miss you. You better be careful." He laughed and held my upper arms, planting a kiss against my forehead. "I'll try to be."

I laid my head on his shoulder and stared out the window. He set his head on mine, hardly putting any weight or pressure on it.

Whenever we are together, it seems as if the sun shines even brighter. Even seeing him makes my heart skip a beat. This new feeling was scary to me. I became more paranoid than I've been before. Before, I didn't think of the worst happening since it already happened with Minx. But now, the thought of Anakin dying almost made me sick.

Anakin pulled away from me, asking before I could think anymore, "You're anxious. Are you okay?" I looked up to him, "Yeah. I'm just thinking." He smiled and placed his hand on my cheek. "If only I could read whatever is in your pretty head."

"That was corny." I said. "Really? I thought it was pretty good." Laughing, I shook my head, "Nope. It was corny." He sighed, "I must be losing my charm then." I replied, "If you were losing your charm, I wouldn't be here, would I?" Smirking up to him, he seemed pleased with himself, "You're not wrong."

He wrapped his arms around me and pulled my into his chest. Resting my head against his chest, he sat the side of his face on my head. "I'm gonna miss you, y/n." I requested in his chest, "Anakin, don't. Don't start this speech yet, not until it's our last day together. Please."

"Alright." He tightened his arms around me slightly. I love when he does that.
