Chapter 43

Back on the ship, Anakin gave all of us our lightsabers that he took from the Queen. Then, we all changed back into our normal clothes.

Prior to entering Kadavo, Caleb sent a message to Admiral Coburn and told him to send star ships to the Kadavo system.

When the ship landed, the doors opened and we ran out of the transport. Cannons began shooting at the ship, making it explode. We turned around to the explosion and ducked because of the debris flying everywhere.

Standing back up, we ran to the closed, metal door. R2 beeped against the door. "So much for our ride home." Anakin said. "What now?" Ahsoka asked. "We get through the old fashioned way." Anakin held up his lightsaber and ignited it into the door, beginning to make a circle.

A shot hit R2's foot, making him slide back more and beep. "It's okay R2." I put my hand on his head. "General Skywalker, I'm glad to see you. I can't say the same about our host." Rex appeared above the controls on the side of the wall.

"You can't make everyone happy, Rex." Anakin replied, still making the circle. "They're threatening to kill the slaves unless you all surrender. Trust me, if we could do something Bodhi and I would." Rex announced. "It's good to see you're always ready for a fight. But I've had enough bargaining with slavers." Anakin stated. "General, you must realize this is a fight you cannot win alone."

"Who said I was alone?" Anakin smirked. A fleet flew down from space, into the atmosphere. Master Plo Koon was leading them in attempting to take out the cannons. "I hope you told Master Plo Koon not to destroy this facility before we all get off of it." I told Caleb.

"Yeah, all of us and the slaves." Caleb said. Anakin finished the circle, making the metal fall. "We'll need a bigger ship." Ahsoka said before following Anakin, us behind her. Running inside, five guards began shooting. Anakin swung his lightsaber through them quickly.

Pursuing through the building, Master Plo Koon said through our com links, "I cannot move the cruisers in for the rescues operation until those enemy cannons are destroyed." I spoke into my com link, "We'll take care of those cannons. Just make sure that cruiser gets down here. We're running out of time!"

"I'm gonna go help my people. I'll see if I can by us some time." Ahsoka stated. "I'm coming with you." Caleb said and ran in the other direction with her. "Good luck." Anakin and I yelled to them. R2 stayed with Anakin and I as we ran back outside.

Jumping onto cannons that were next to each other, Anakin and I took out the guards in each of ours. Hopping into the seat, I grabbed the controls and began shooting other cannons, destroying them. Anakin did the same.

"We're all clear Master Plo. Bring the cruisers down to the landing pad." I heard Anakin say from the com link. Ahsoka spoke, "Cancel that order Master! There's no way to get the people out of the holding cell and up to the landing platform. But I have an idea. We need to have the cruiser move in underneath the facility. We can escape onto the ship if Admiral Coburn can get in close enough."

"We're on our way." Admiral Coburn said through the com link. Getting out of the cannon, I saw Anakin waiting. Falling onto the ground, I landed on my feet. Rex and Bodhi ran out of the building as a transport landed by us with a few clones inside.

Sprinting to it, we all hopped on and flew away and R2 beeped. "Are you guys okay?" I asked them. Rex and Bodhi nodded, "Agruss won't be a slave holder anymore. He's dead." I felt the relief coming from Anakin.

"Okay Master Plo, the cruiser is clear." Anakin said into the com link on his arm. "All gunships, fire!" Master Plo Koon ordered. Watching through the pilot's window, we watched as our gunship and the others fired rockets onto the facility, destroying it.

As it crumbled and fell to the abyss under it, we flew back into space to the cruiser. Our gunship landed and I walked out to see Ahsoka, Master Plo Koon, and Caleb helping the rescued Togrutas.

Walking up to them, they were talking to the Governor of Kiros. "I thank you, the Jedi, and the Republic for saving our lives."

"Ahsoka and Caleb are the real hero's." I advised. "Without their creativity, I don't think we would've gotten your people to safety." The man smiled at them, "Indeed. Padawan Tano, Padawan Dume, may I have a word in private with you two?" We bowed our heads. "Of course." They said.

Anakin and I smiled at our Padawan's before leaving them with the Governor. "I'm very proud of them." Anakin smiled, "Me too. They're gonna be great Masters some day." I smiled at the sight of Caleb and Ahsoka talking to the Governor, "Yeah, they will."

We turned to Rex and Bodhi. "You guys sure you're okay?" I asked. "Yes, we're fine General." Bodhi chuckled. I smiled, "I just wanna make sure."

"I'm glad you guys are okay." Anakin crossed his arms and smiled. "Thank you, General." They said.

"We're going back to Coruscant." Master Plo Koon told me as we walked through the ship. "Chancellor Palpatine has requested to talk to you once we get back." I questioned, "Did he say why?" Master Plo replied, "No, he just asked to speak with you when you come back to Coruscant."

"Very well. Thank you Master." I said. "Also, your former Master would like to speak with you as well. I have her waiting on a transmission room."

"Yes Master." Master Plo lead me to the room. The doors opened and showed Master Shaak Ti on the table. "Thank you Master Plo Koon. Please, leave us." He nodded and left the small room, leaving us alone.

"What's wrong, Master?" I bowed. "I feel a disturbance in the force. I can't tell from where or who, but it's close. I need for you to be careful, y/n." Confused, I asked, "Close? As in the Jedi?" My Master shook her head, "I cannot tell. Either that, or the Senate. It's a familiar presence, I just can't tell from where."

"I'll be careful Master." I reassured her. "I mean it  y/n." She said strictly, "I trust you, but you are in a vulnerable position right now. We all are. I feel as if this presence will hunt you, or Skywalker down. Ever since the Clone Wars have started, I've felt uneasy. The whole council has. Master Yoda is taking the most precautions, since the shroud of the dark side has fallen. This dark presence is the Sith Lord we are after, we just don't know who or what it is. Y/n, you must be careful. I cannot stress this enough."

"I'll be careful Master. I promise." I spoke in a serious tone. "I just have one question, why do you think it'd be after General Skywalker or I?" Master Shaak Ti sighed, "The both of you are great fighters. Your knowledge in the force is also high, same with how much it's involved in you. I'm afraid this dark presence will try to take both of you."

"It won't happen Master. I promise this to you." I reassured her. "Thank you y/n." She replied. "Thank you, Master."
