Shortly after lunch, Adam texted me. My heart raced for a second.

Adam: Hey, do you have any plans next Saturday morning?
Kim: No, why?
Adam: I have to testify next Saturday at 9:00 for a case while back. Sara is out of town. Can you watch Noah? The rest of the kids are at a lock-in for school.
Kim: Yeah, I can watch him. What time do you want me at the house?
Adam: Is eight alright?
Kim: Yeah.
