Jay POV:
Tyler. I was in the army with him. He was pretty much my right hand man. We did everything together. When the bullets were flying, we had each other's back. We did all of the drills together. Every time I was in action, I would be assigned with him. We made a great team. We were invincible.
He was the kind of guy that everyone was friends with. He was the stereotypical guy who got voted homecoming king. He was quarterback on the football team in his hometown.
He would talk about his wife who was a surgeon in his hometown. He talked about how perfect she was and how much she spoiled the kids.
"Hailey, today, it seemed like Hank knew your sister. Like they went way back" I questioned.
"It's possible. She lived in Chicago. She just never came around. Her mother was an alcoholic according to our dad."
"Are you okay working with her?"
"I guess. It's not like I grew up with her. She's pretty much a stranger to me".
"What about her dating Adam?"
"It's weird no doubt but Adam and I haven't seen each other that way in a long time".
Hailey seems okay. I think she has just seen a familiar ghost.
