Jay POV:
A few days ago when Hailey and I had lunch with Will and Hannah Asher, they also had concerns with Hailey pregnancy. With Sara having preeclampsia with her last pregnancy, they recommend that Hailey gets some tests done. We go to the doctors office, to relieve our worries.
Doctor: Hello, I'm Doctor Fisher. Hailey Upton, this is your first pregnancy?
Hailey: Yes.
Doctor: Okay. What are some concerns you have first before I get to mine?
Hailey: My half sister almost died from preeclampsia with her last pregnancy. I was told that it possibly runs in the family.
Doctor: I thought I recognized you. I delivered your nephew. So, there's not a definite answer if it runs in the family, but we will run a few tests to see if you have high blood pressure problems that could cause you problems.
The doctor leaves the room. The nurse takes Hailey's blood and urine sample. The doctor comes back with results.
