Jay POV:
As we are going over the case, Voight gets a call. After a few minutes of being on the phone...
Voight: That was Commander Polina. Hailey is coming back to Intelligence.
Vanessa: Yay! It's been too long.
Voight: She also wants Jay at internal affairs.
Jay: What? Why?
Voight: Calm down. I told her she can't have you because you still have too much to do here.
Jay: And she just said okay?
Voight: Yeah. She likes me. She pretty much always goes with my recommendation.
Hailey walks up the stairs.
Hailey: Does she have a thing for you? I didn't see a ring.
The team hasn't seen Hailey in a while. You can tell she's showing. She's 11 weeks but she looks at least 18 weeks because of the twins. The team looks at her in shock and pure joy.
Vanessa: Hailey!
She runs over to her.
Kim: How long have you been keeping this from us?
Hailey: About 11 weeks.
Vanessa: Oh my gosh. I can't believe it!
Kevin: Congratulations Hailey.
Hailey: Thank you. I'm glad I'm back.
Voight: Nice to have you back.
Hailey: So, does she have a thing for you?
Voight: Yeah, I think she does
Kim: Then you should ask her out
Voight: No, she's a commander.
Adam: Boss, you only live once.
Vanessa: True.
Voight: I'll think about it. Anyways, we have a case in Canaryville.
The team laughs except for Adam.
Adam: Come one guys. Canaryville isn't bad.
Hailey: Sure.
Adam: It's just a tight knit community.
Kim: Coming from a Canaryville guy.
