Biana: Don't forget, Sophie! Midterms are in seven weeks, two days and three hours.

Sophie: Wait, one second. . .

Sophie: Anyone got a calendar?

Keefe: Great. More human things. Just when I thought we were done. . .

Sophie: Shush

Sophie: *leaps back five minutes later* So I stole this from Amy's desk—

Keefe: Ah, Foster. Learning the proper arts.

Sophie: ANYWAYS, what was that, Biana?

Biana: Seven weeks, two days and uh, well, now it's two hours and fifty-five minutes

Sophie: Okay, so seven weeks. . . that'll be in February. . . the last week—

Fitz: Flabbergasted?

Sophie: February

Linh: How do you spell that?

Sophie: F - E - B - R - U -A - R - Y

Linh: Okay, so in the dictionary—

Tam: Why are you so resourceful?

Linh: It SAYS, "the second month of the year, in the northern hemisphere usually considered the last month of winter."

Sophie: Yeah, that.

Wylie: And it's a human measurement thing?

Sophie: A human measurement of time. It's a month's name.

Fitz: Why do months have names?

Sophie: Humans also number their years

Marella: That must be so annoying. Like, oh, it's 1 003 480. We're all old.

Sophie: . . . I don't think we've gotten past 2020 yet.

Marella: That's too bad.

Dex: Wait. . . what's "Mon" mean?

Sophie: "My" in French

Dex: So on the calendar it says. . . "my"?

Sophie: *looks at calendar* Oh! It's supposed to be an abbreviation for Monday.

Dex: Human names again?

Sophie: Day of the week, to be exact

Linh: Monday's definition in the dictionary is "the day of the week before Tuesday and following Sunday."

Tam: Well, that's useful, since we have no idea what Toggle or Suns is.

Keefe: Well, I hope you know what a sun is

Tam: Of course I do!

Keefe: 'Cause you said *mimcs Tam's voice* 'we have no idea what Toggle or Suns is.'

Sophie: OKAY, STOP YOU TWO

Sophie: *regains her calm the next second* Sunday is the first day of the week

Sophie: Or, wait, some people say Monday is

Sophie: *Tam and Keefe open their mouths to speak* *Sophie: Holds up her hand* EITHER WAY, Monday is after Sunday, then it's Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and finally Saturday.

Sophie: Except it's not finally because by then it's Sunday again

Sophie: Any questions?

Marella: *raises hand* Why are Tuesday and Thursday different?

Sophie: *facepalms* At least you didn't call it Toggle and Top Hat or something

Linh: It says in the dictionary that Tuesday is preceded by Monday while Thursday is preceded by Wednesday and that after Tuesday is Wednesday while after Thursday is Friday.

Sophie: Exactly that!

Tam: I'm starting to hate that dictionary

Linh: *gasps* Why?

Tam: It makes you too nerdy

Linh: Wow, thanks a lot, Tam

Dex: Wait, but what's "Jan" mean?

Sophie: This is going to be a long, long day
