I chuckled with what he said before wrapping my arms around his. "I need diversion from crazy things going inside my head. I think this party will help me," I assure him.
Sabay kaming lumabas ni Isaac ng apartment niya at kaagad na tinungo ang kotse na iniwan ni Lex. Hindi naman daw kasi p'wedeng mag-motor kaming dalawa papunta sa club kung saan gaganapin ang after party kasi nga kasama ako.
Sandali akong natigilan nang pagbuksan ako ni Isaac ng pinto sa passenger seat.
"What? Tama namang pagbuksan ang babae ng pinto ng kotse 'di ba?" clueless niyang tanong sa akin na ikinatawa ko naman.
"Do I look okay with my dress? Feeling ko hindi bagay sa akin ang damit ni Yngrid."
Natigilan siya sa random na tanong ko. I don't know but I want to hear from Isaac's mouth that I look okay. I never seek for someone's assurance. So, even for me, I am wondering why I want to have Isaac's approval.
He raked his gaze through my body before giving me a gentle smile. He held my left wrist where there's a bondage wrapped around it. Natigilan ako sa ginawa niyang paghaplos do'n.
Memories of what happened earlier came back to my mind. If Isaac wasn't there to stop me from attempting to end this hopeless life, I wouldn't be here standing in front him.
