"I didn't know, Rina. Kung alam ko lang na ex mo si Von at may hindi magandang bagay sa pagitan niyo ng kapatid ko, hindi ko na sana hiniling na tumugtog siya para sa araw na 'to," Giselle immediately explained to me right after I came back from my breakdown.

Sandaling napatingin ako kay Giana na nasa gilid ng backstage at abalang binabasa ang music sheet. Napansin kong nakasuot na rin siya ng isang mahaba at puting gown na babagay para sa buong production ng performance na 'to.

I sighed before I forced a smile to Giselle. Wala siyang kasalanan at kita ko naman sa mga mata niya na nagsisisi siya sa naging desisyon niya. I can't blame her. She's been there to motivate me until I reached this part of my life. I don't want to ruin my relationship with her just because she's Giana's sister. Having my mind stable at some point made me become more rational and logical in assessing the situation around me. Sevi helped me to become like this.

"Let's not dwell on that issue. Nangyari na 'yon at dapat nang hayaan sa nakaraan."

Giselle hugged me before she nodded. "You know, I treated you like my little sister. Hindi ko ginustong masaktan ang damdamin mo, Rina."

"I know. Sorry din kasi nag-walk out ako. And now, na-delay na ang performance natin. Nakakahiya sa mga audiences."

"No worries. I got the situation under control. Ngayon, let's just focus on the performance. Kaya ipaayos na natin 'yang make-up mo. Okay?"

Bahagya akong natawa nang punasan pa ni Giselle ang kalat na make up sa gilid ng mata ko. She led me to the make up artist and asked her to redo my look.

Habang inaayusan ako, biglang lumapit sa akin si Jenie at hinawakan niya ang kamay ko. I met her gaze on the mirror's reflection and I saw the concern in her eyes.

"Sure kang maayos ka na?"

"Yeah. I'll make sure na hindi maaapektuhan ng sitwasyon ang performance natin. I'll do my best to not ruin this," I assured her and she smiled at her.

"Kung ano mang issue sa inyo ni Miss Giana, p'wede mong ilabas ang nararamdaman mo mamaya bilang si Odile. People won't judge you if you used ballet to let out your emotions." Niyakap niya ako mula sa gilid na talagang nagpagaan sa bigat ng nararamdaman ko dahil sa mga nalaman ko. "Use dancing to express what your heart truly feels. Always remember that it's your emotions that matter and not anyone's opinion."

Huminga ako nang malalim bago tumango kay Jenie. I didn't expect to have such kind and sincere connection with her. But I guess, this is what you'll get if you become honest and real to someone. And I must say, I am the real me around the whole class Epsilon.

After a minute of huddle and last reminders from Giselle, we all took our position for the opening act where the scene will start at the Royal court in which a grand ball will occur to celebrate Prince Siegfried's 21st birthday. Everyone are expected to have a lovely smile on their faces for this part and everything will speak for the joy and positivity that anyone who will attend a birthday party should experience.
