Carina, Blaise and Draco were all sat around the fireplace in Leonardo's Italian home. Not three hours ago they were sat having a steak dinner and now everything was just a mess.
Carina had Leonardo pull the glamour charms off her hair so her curls could be free, and she felt relief as she ran her hand through the wild curls. Blaise was concerned, he couldn't believe their uncle just took them from their home! Their mum had always needed them but the fact that Eleonora had barely protested left Blaise feeling unsettled.
Leonardo walked in with a pot of tea and biscuits and he set it up on the table before sighing.
"Are you three okay? It was intense back there and I want to make sure that you're not too rattled or upset. It's important that we talk about our feelings."
"What on Merlin's balls is going on with everyone? Am I out of some kind of a loop?" Carina asked after a moment
She'd felt this pent up anger for a while, it stemmed from Blaise and Draco muggle fighting, but the more she thought about it nothing made sense to her. She felt there was something going on that she didn't know about, like with the DA. It wasn't long before she'd find out she just really couldn't make the connections as she didn't know everything she had needed to.
"You're out of no loop Carrie," Draco stated
"Well what is up with you all? Firstly you were muggle fighting! What was that about?" She asked with her arms wrapped around her tightly as she started to pace back and forth
"Sorella, he just said some not nice things," Blaise said looking at Zio Leonardo who raised an eyebrow "about you," he finished and Leonardo sucked in a breath.
Carina frowned. Who cared if Nott said something about her? She certainly didn't, he was just bitter that she didn't want to accept the betrothal. That's what this dinner was about tonight not Zio Leonardo. She'd worked it out. Zio Leonardo came to save her from the betrothal dinner. They were fighting about the betrothal. It all led back to her. That's why she was out of a loop.
It still does not explain the howler from her mother, either way Carina couldn't believe it.
"So..." Carina drawled
"So what?" Draco asked
"Merlin's beard, what did he say about me you idiots!" She shouted
"Sorella, it really wasn't very nice. I don't want to tell you," Blaise said and Carina huffed
"I'm a big girl Blaisey! Tell Me. Now." She said with a deathly tone
