Carina Bella Zabini hated Umbridge, she despised her. Somehow she ended up in yet another detention because she had been caught with Fred walking around the castle after curfew. The scar was burning, it was bad enough that Fred had been in detention previously for the Quidditch incident so she felt awful. Thankfully they were now on their way to Hogsmeade for their date. It was quite exciting. Carina and Fred still hadn't defined their relationship but they had definitely moved from more than a friendship stage.

They hadn't kissed again either but Carina hadn't minded that. The few kisses on the cheeks they shared were more than enough. It had fallen on a weekend before Valentine's Day too — Carina, Fred, George and Lee were pretending it was Valentine's Day just as an excuse to eat the heart shaped chocolate — so Carina felt like if Fred hadn't asked her to be his girlfriend by the end of the day she might just give up and do it herself. She was an independent women, why shouldn't she ask him? There was no reason she could think of why she shouldn't so she was definitely considering it. Who needs a man to ask her?

Although she hoped he had a plan, she loved plans.

She was standing by the gates by the carriages fussing with her nails when Fred, George and Lee sauntered up to her.

"Happy Valentine's Day!" Lee said holding out a chocolate heart

"This isn't one of your jokes is it?" She asked and Lee shook his head giving a one armed hug

"Nope, this is all out of love," George teased and Carina shrugged taking the chocolate.

"Come on then, we have a date," Fred said grabbing her hand and leading her back to the castle

"Freddie, Hogsmeade is that way?" Carina asked confused

"We're not going to Hogsmeade love, I know you wanted to go because it's your birthday soon but George and Lee are getting your chocolate order so we can spend the day together," Fred said

He dragged her up to the room of requirement and he paced back and forth several times waiting for the door to appear. Fred opened the door and took a deep breath.

Carina loved what she saw in there. Fred had set up a teepee type tent with a table and candles to the side. It looked extremely romantic, especially as there were rose petals all around the floor.

She looked around in awe, she couldn't believe that Fred had thought of something like this. Even the ceiling had been enchanted to have the stars up there. She really thought this was the most thoughtful thing someone had done for her.
