Blaise Zabini had a rough few months. Ever since he found out his sister had attacked Draco and Nott in the great hall he had to work harder to prove he wasn't a 'blood-traitor' like she was. It was a load of rubbish.  He hated the way Draco had begun talking about his sister but he knew that just like him, Draco had to play the part. He only wished that didn't mean being horrible to his sister. Blaise only cared about his sister, there was nothing in the world that could ever prevent him from protecting her.

Carina didn't know what had gone on over Christmas when she had left with her Uncle. It was very intense and it was basically Robert trying to recruit Blaise for the death eaters. Blaise would rather have died than join the death eaters. Blaise didn't believe in the killing of innocent people, regardless of whatever others believed in — innocent people were innocent and their blood should never be spilled.

He then was told about the Azkaban break out that was being planned over Christmas, which caused anxiety for him he would never show this to his sister though. He knew that Mulciber's cousin was in Azkaban and Blaise was terrified that these people would be around the Manor and around carina. He didn't want that, he wanted Carina away from it all for as long as possible.

He also learnt the truth about what happened to their dad but he would never tell Carina, it would break her and he wouldn't be the one to do it. Over his dead body would he tell Carina before he would ever break her heart. He would never be the one to do that to her. He wouldn't, she'd been let down by numerous people in her life already, she wouldn't be let down by him.

Blaise was currently in the library studying for his Arithmancy exam when carina walked in looking as if she hadn't slept in days.

Blaise frowned and looked at her with obvious worry and concern. Why did she look so tired? Was she unwell? He had so many questions run through his head and they didn't stop, not even when she sat down as he noticed her leg was bouncing up and down and she couldn't stop biting her nails.

"Blaisey I need help," she cried "revision is overwhelming me, I can't do it." She started to speak in Italian after this which allowed Blaise to see that she was clearly distressed and upset

Blaise put down his quill and turned to Carina so he could help her properly.  He turned her around and placed a scrunchie into her hair to keep it out of her face as he knew that when she was feeling like this any hair in her face could make her have an overload. He passed her some water and took his hand in hers.
