Carina woke up on the morning of the first Hogsmeade with butterflies in her stomach. She was finally seeing Fred Weasley again!

She had missed him dearly, it was almost as if the time apart had been longer — she knew it hadn't but it just felt like not seeing Fred every day anymore, even in passing, just made her heart ache.

She had also noted they'd nearly been dating for seven months and Carina was excited at the fact that he'd put up with her for that long. She'd woken up extra early that morning so she could have the bathroom for a long period of time.

She decided to wash and relax her curls — or try too — it hadn't worked very well, they'd just appeared more frizzy but she shoved a clip on the side and put some product in it and managed to make it somewhat presentable. It's not like she'd even needed to impress Fred she just wanted to. This was the first time she was seeing Fred in over a month — she had to look beautiful.

Carina settled on wearing a floral dress with some ankle boots and a thick winter coat. She was half-tempted to wear a hat but after the struggle with her hair she decided against it.

She was heading down to Hogsmeade with Orion as Blaise had told her he was waiting for Draco to serve his detention and they were going to spend time together this afternoon with Nott, Crabbe and Goyle.

Carina and Orion were on their way to the carriages to take them to Hogsmeade but Carina could only wish she had worn warmer clothing instead of something to make her look pretty. She was freezing and it always amazed her how she managed to underestimate the Scottish weather.

"Are you excited to see George?" Carina asked Orion

Orion and George were complicated — Carina was sure that they had been dating but Orion said they were just "seeing where it went" but they were more friendly than anything. From what she gathered though this didn't seem to be the case.

Whenever George's name was mentioned Orion would blush and he'd lick his lips twice before playing with the hem of his top. Carina noticed that these were nervous habits and it meant that George and Orion were definitely something. She was guessing they were just giving it a bit of time because of the bad break up with Aurora. Carina still always cast a hex her way in the corridors — she truly couldn't stand her at this point.

Carina was so excited for their developing friendship as well but Carina couldn't stand for homophobia, she thought it was like blood supremacy — stupid.
