Siri was dead. Siri was dead. Sirius Black was dead.

Carina felt numb. The night before when she had been sat laughing and joking with Orion and Lee, Potter and his stupid army of rebels had gone to the Department of Mysteries as it was believed you-know-who had Siri. Instead of Potter telling an adult or alerting Snape a member of the order he decided to be the hero and go to the department of mysteries himself with his friends.

Luna had been amongst this group of people and upon seeing Luna the next day Carina couldn't help but wrap her arms around the girl tightly to make sure she was alright — Carina even kissed Luna's forehead and cheeks several times feeling relief in knowing she was alright.

Luna had gone on about how they had to help Stubby Boardman or whoever she was on about but Carina couldn't stop herself from ignoring everyone else because Siri was dead.

Carina Bella Zabini had never looked worse. Her curls were matted and she was wearing clothes that were so big it looked as if she didn't have anything nice to wear at all. She couldn't cry though. She wouldn't cry. As she entered the great hall with Orion, who was holding her hand tightly, she couldn't help but feel as if she wanted to leave almost immediately.

Blaise noticed his sisters state and walked over to the duo immediately. He had heard the news. Their mother had sent him an owl that night saying that Robert had been arrested by the Aurors as he had been involved — he hadn't told Carina yet — and while he didn't know why Carina was like she was he knew it wasn't good.

He walked with Orion to the table and started to try and de-tangle his sisters hair once they sat down. She didn't say anything and when Orion passed her a piece of toast she just nibbled the corner and set it down.

She didn't want to eat. Siri was dead. How could she eat when Siri didn't have the chance to? How could she eat knowing that Siri would never set foot on this earth again as a free man because he was taken too early. That's all Sirius wanted to be was a free man.

Blaise managed to sort her hair out as best as he could to make it look slightly more presentable and rubbed her back. She saw Potter and Weasley walk in and she couldn't stop herself from standing up and walking over to him with her wand clenched tightly in her hand. Orion grabbed her hand and pulled her from the great hall into the courtyard.

"What are you doing?" He hissed

"He's the reason Siri is gone!" She snarled
