{50. The New Year}

Carina and Orion had stayed in the Weasley's until the thirtieth. They were leaving via the floo network in the afternoon. Carina was sat talking to Remus about her school work while Harry watched on bitterly.

"Carina how is your uncle? I haven't heard from either of them in awhile," he asked

"Zio has been trying to fight mamma for custody and I'm sure Marcello is over in MACUSA right now. But I'm not one hundred percent sure,"

Remus nodded at the girl and frowned. He noticed that she looked worried after he had asked that but he sent her a small smile.

He had noticed that over the past few days of her being at the burrow, Potter had not been at all hospitable and made it extremely awkward for whenever she was around. Remus was thinking of ways that they could possibly break any ice as he knew had Luca Zabini survived, Potter and Carina would have been raised like family.

Fred came down and wrapped his arm around Carina's waist kissing her cheek. Ever since they'd both admitted their love for each other the two had been inseparable, they hadn't wanted to leave each other's side.

Orion and George and also had managed to sort things out properly and decided to give it a go — A proper go this time. It made Carina so happy that he got over his fear of getting rejected by George and put his feelings out there. She was proud of her best friend.

"How about a game of quidditch? There's more of us this time?" George suggested

"Yeah that sounds brilliant! I'll go get Harry, Ron, Ginny and Bill," Fred said kissing Carina's cheek

"You play Carina?" Remus had asked and Carina shook her head

"Absolutely not. I just played once in the summer and Fred broke my nose," she explained with a sigh and Remus laughed

"Prefer being on the ground then?"

"Of course I do! I'm a lady Moons I'm not meant to play sports!" She joked

Fred came back down the stairs with everyone else — except Fleur who was having an afternoon snooze — the teams were Bill, Carina, George and Potter then the opposite team was Fred, Ron, Ginny and Orion.

Moony was going to referee the game. They all head up in the air and Carina stuck to George like glue. She was terrified of getting hit in the nose again and definitely wanted to make sure her face stayed in tact. The game was in play and carina stayed in the spot she was in as she didn't want to get too involved. That was until Bill threw the quaffle at her, she let out a squeal and headed towards the other teams goals.
