Trigger warning; alcohol, slightly steamy scene

Carina woke up on February 20th with a smile on her face. She changed into a skirt and shirt and ran down to the Slytherin common room with Blaise's present in hand. She said the password and knocked the boys dormitory door.

After a moment of no answer she barged in and jumped on Blaise's bed.

"Happy sixteenth birthday Blaisey!" She shouted and Blaise groaned "wake up!" She shouted grabbing the pillow from the bed and smacked it across Blaise's face.

Blaise chuckled and grabbed Carina's sides and started to tickle her causing Carina to let out a howl of laughter.

"Tanti auguri a te!" Blaise said wrapping his arms around her tightly. He pulled her next to him on the bed and reached under his bed to grab her present. They exchanged gifts and opened them at the same time.

Carina had given Blaise two shirts and a framed photograph of the two of them. Blaise had got Carina a new quill — the one she'd loved in the shop a few months ago — a charm for the bracelet Draco had bought her for Christmas and a new dress.

Carina wrapped her arms around him tightly and grinned. She loved the gifts and she couldn't wait to wear the new dress when she had the opportunity.

The past few days before her birthday had been intense. Potter had given an interview for the Quibbler and named death eaters that had been there at the end of the tournament. Eleonora's husband had been named. It had caused a bit of uncertainty between Blaise and Carina but they knew that they would support their mother no matter what. It also caused the Quibbler to be banned by Umbitch and then she banned teachers from talking about anything that didn't relate to their subject. Lee Jordan had fun telling Umbridge off about this and it was highly entertaining.

The two twins headed into the great hall and they walked with the arrogance that they had been born to have and they smirked at each other before separating off to their respective tables.

Carina sat next to Orion and he wrapped his arms tightly around her.

"Happy birthday little one!"

"Thank you Ry!" She grinned hugging him back just as tightly

Not many people knew it was Carina's birthday. Fred Weasley knew it was her birthday soon but he hadn't known exactly when and he'd been watching Carina each day to see what her mood had looked like. He had sorted a day out with Charlie for them to go to the Dragon sanctuary in Romania and spend a day there. He knew it didn't cost anything but he thought it would definitely be something that Carina liked. Especially as she had so many questions about dragons in general.
