Carina Bella Zabini hated the after Christmas come down. She found the New Year celebrations to be a right old pile of rubbish. This year though, she headed into Muggle London to see the fireworks with Orion and his family. Obviously she was fascinated by everything but they brought the year 1996 in with style.
They were now arriving at King's Cross Station to catch the train back to Hogwarts. Carina received an Owl from Fred Weasley saying they were taking the Knight Bus so he would see her the second night back in the kitchens just after curfew.
Carina was excited for that. However, she had planned to avoid him. She was in quite the dilemma but she was going to meet him as she fancied him and she was pretty sure that he fancied her too.
They were saying goodbye to Orion's parents and his brother at the station and Carina was hugging Mr Phillips tightly. She thanked them both for allowing her to stay for a lot of the holiday yet again and they had told her it was no problem.
They secretly loved having the clueless girl around, it made them feel like their world was interesting even though to them it was the wizarding world that was the most fascinating.
"Do you guys mind if I sit with Blaisey?" She asked
"No go find him, we'll be with Lee Jordan alright?" Orion said kissing her forehead and she nodded
She heading towards the slytherin section and saw Blaise and Draco sitting with Nott and Parkinson. She rolled her eyes and knocked on the cabin doors.
Draco immediately wrapped his arms tightly around her whispering that he had missed her dearly and she moved to sit next to Blaise. She leant her head on his shoulder and wrapped her hands around his arm so she could cuddle it.
"Heard about the mess you got your family into at the Ball Zabini," Parkinson taunted and Carina rolled her eyes
"Yes, well I was unwell Parkinson, it happens." Carina grumbled
"Just as you were about to seal the betrothal though? Bit fishy to me." She pushed
"Oh just piss off Pansy," carina snapped silencing the girl "keep your big ugly nose out of things you have no idea about,"
Carina rolled her eyes before moving so she could get more comfortable next to Blaise. She wasn't going to deal with Parkinson's shit. She wasn't buying into this Slytherin rubbish and was just going to ignore her the whole way.
