{.60. The Burrow}
Trigger: steamy scenes, mentions of blood, vomit
Carina couldn't get over how crowded the burrow had become. She had barely spoken to anyone except Orion and Fred. She spoke briefly to Hermione and had to console her because she obliviated her parents. Carina's heart ached for the poor girl and she could never imagine doing that to her parents. The thought of Blaise never remembering Carina had broken her heart quite a lot. The good news was that Jamie and Sarah were due to have their Twinnies within the next two weeks as they were now really big for twins and the muggle healer was concerned. Carina was excited — Jamie had taken the news of his mother quite awfully according to Zio Leonardo but was just glad that at least Orion and Kian were safe.
It was a rainy day and Carina had been helping Mrs Weasley with the cooking, she had been eager to learn as she didn't want a house elf when she was older so she thought watching Mrs Weasley was the perfect way to learn. Mrs Weasley was everything Carina wanted to be — maybe not the mother aspect — but she wanted to grow to be as loving and kind as Mrs Weasley was. She was one of the most genuine people Carina had known. She liked that about the Weasley's. They were all just beautiful people.
Carina had been peeling potatoes and staring off into space when she cut her hand on the knife and hissed in pain. She ran her hand under the cold water to get rid of the blood. She was transfixed as she watched the blood run into into the streams of the cold water. She remembered what Dolohov had looked like when his blood— carina shook her head and thought of something else. She wouldn't allow herself to think about Robert Mulciber and she most definitely wouldn't think about a Dolohov.
"Carina do you want to come for a walk outside with me? You've been peeling potatoes all day!" Fred had asked and Carina looked to Mrs Weasley for approval. She gave a nod and ushered her out of the room.
Carina jumped onto Fred's back as he carried her out of the burrow. He had noticed that she had seemed quite distant and he was extremely concerned. He knew something more had happened in the Phillips household than was let on but he didn't know what.
It was pouring with rain and Carina's curls had fallen down onto her face. Fred set her down and placed his hand out, carina accepted his hand and they started to dance.
Fred had spun Carina around numerous times causing her to laugh loudly. She had moved to do a box step with Fred when she had got her foot caught in the mud and slipped causing her to fall on top of Fred. The two let out a chuckle and Fred used two hands to wipe the wet curls out of Carina's face.
He took a moment to admire her, he had always known Carina was a natural beauty, she had bragged about it enough over the time he had known her and he truly believed it because seeing her outside in the rain looking like she did in that moment: Fred knew he had been blessed.
