Hogwarts was different. The first few weeks went by in a flash and the mood in the castle was getting more tense by the day. The teachers were fed up of the way the school was being run but nobody could say anything because Snape didn't exactly have a complaint process and nobody would dare speak against him and his policies, fearful of what might happen. Normally when there was detentions to be given they had to send the children to the Carrows or Rabastan Lestrange, they avoided this if they could.

The staff members like Professor Flitwick, Minnie,  Professor Slughorn even Mr Hagrid we're doing their best to try and keep morale up in the school, encouraging the pupils to learn but it was extremely difficult when they knew that there wasn't much hope due to the rumours Potter had done a bunk.

The Carrow's had been targeting Neville frequently. The poor boy was getting beaten quite often taking to coming to see Carina in the Ravenclaw common room to try her best and help with healing spells she had been learning for things like this. Neville was always very appreciative and Carina's heart would bleed for him when she'd see his bloody and bruised state, she truly just wanted to protect him. While Neville would come to Ravenclaw tower they would also be using their knowledge of the castle as best as they could to think about where the torture chamber could be. They wanted to help as many Muggle borns as they possibly could it was the right thing for them to do — it was the only thing they could do.

Carina had been writing in her book to Fred every night, they had often discussed the end of the war. They had discussed what they would do as soon as they could. Fred was obviously cheesy and said that he would marry Carina at the first given opportunity. Carina thought the idea was nice though, she would want a June wedding.

The reason for wanting a June wedding would for her to be able to have the flower arrangement she wanted, she wanted sunflowers and warm weather. She also wanted slightly warmer weather so she'd look tanned and radiant.  She didn't mind a winter wedding though, especially because christmas was her favourite time of year, the colours, the weather, she'd be able to get on board with a Christmas wedding too if she was being honest with herself.

They said that they would get a cottage by the sea, something that would be homely like the burrow with a few spare rooms for Blaise and all Fred's siblings. There would also be a room for Remus and Tonks' baby for when it came to stay when carina was on godmother duties.

Carina also made sure she mentioned that they would definitely have an Italian summer home. She loved Italy and wanted to experience more of her heritage, she wanted to experience more of that with Fred too. Just truly immerse themselves in the culture and bask in the Italian life and sunshine.
