After a relaxing weekend of nearly stress free revision Carina was not prepared for her exams to start up again. She was quite relaxed as Blaise had been helping her with potions and Professor Snape had constantly told her she was achieving an Exceeds Expectation in her written work, if she could bring her practical work up from an Acceptable, he told her she should have no issues in the exam.

However, she did not feel this was the case. The written exam had been quite hard as she had to answer a question  on Polyjuice Potion which she only knew vague amounts about but she managed to explain it as best as she could as she borrowed an essay from Blaise to read.

The practical part had been difficult, and she had nearly messed up one of the potions but she managed to sort it out and get it to become the right colour in the end. She was elated and celebrated with Blaise that night as he was proud of her for even managing to create the potion let alone get it nearly right in the exam.

Luckily for Carina she didn't do Care of Magical Creatures this year, no matter how much she had wanted to become a dragonologist when she was younger. It did however give her a break and she spent some time revising for her Astronomy and Arithmancy exams the next day with Oro, the Niffler. Who she had rarely seen in recent weeks because of all the studying.

Carina had overheard some of the hufflepuff girls saying that the care of magical creatures exam was a breeze and she was glad that they had a good exam. However it didn't cause her any less stress.

Fred saw her sitting by the black lake and sat next to her pulling out the picnic blanket so he could set the food he had gotten her on.

"Do you have time for a break?" He asked

Carina checked her pocket watch and nodded.

"Yes I have to move onto Arithmancy then as I'm fairly certain I can do an Astronomy exam with my eyes closed now," she joked taking a piece of cake

"You're doing so great Care, only a few more days," he said placing his hands on either of her shoulders and massaging them for her

Carina let out a groan as she realised that she actually had a lot of tension in her neck. Her head moved to the side and Fred pressed a small kiss to her neck.

"I'm going to miss you so much," he whispered and Carina turned around and pressed her lips on his

It was needy, it was caring but most of all it allowed Carina to show the emotion that she couldn't put into words. Fred placed his hands on her waist before slowly pulling away.
