Carina Bella Zabini was nervous. She had regretted agreeing to going on a date in Muggle London almost immediately after agreeing to it. She couldn't say no now though, she had seen how excited everyone looked when she agreed and she realised that to them it had been a step of progress even though it left her anxiety ridden.
Mrs Weasley had knitted Carina a lovely royal blue jumper to match a skirt and ankle boots that she had. She had borrowed a pair of tights from Ginny too, she didn't want any skin on show. It made her nervous. She loved the outfit that had been picked out though and it made her feel fairly confident and beautiful. Something she hadn't felt at all since being back at the Burrow.
"Oh Carina dear you look beautiful!" Mrs Weasley beamed as she clipped a section of Carina's hair back.
"Thank you Mrs Weasley," she said with a smile
Carina had never been more thankful to Mrs Weasley and Ginny. They had offered her so much support over the time that she had been staying there and they always listened and helped Carina through her panic attacks and anxiety. Ginny held her hand as they walked down the stairs and Fred beamed up at Carina.
She let go of Ginny's hand and smiled at Fred giving a small spin which Fred beamed at. Orion smiled at her and asked if he was alright to hug her. Carina nodded and hugged her friend tightly. She had missed him dearly, the two held onto each other like it was the last time they ever would. They both cherished the embrace, Orion because he knew that it meant she'd be safe as long as he had her in his arms he'd protect her from everything and Carina because she knew that this was one of the people she loved most in the world and they were looking out for her.
It was a moment later before they pulled apart and he held her hand tightly.
"I think Carina and I will apparate together if that's alright?" Orion asked
"Of course! You know where we are heading don't you?" Fred asked feeling slightly deflated that he couldn't apparate with Carina but he didn't want to push her. Hopefully the date would help.
The four left to the anti-apparition border and Fred and George both gave them a cheeky wink and left.
"I just want to tell you I love you Carrie, please don't ever be scared of me," he said quietly
"I'm not scared of you, I'm just scared in general," she admitted
"Little one, I will protect you with everything I've got you know that don't you?" Orion choked out "I'll never leave you again," he whispered placing both hands gently on her shoulders
