"I was involved... in a car accident."

Halos manlamig ang buong katawan ni Vincien sa sinabi ni Kristene. Hindi nya nakuhang makagalaw, maski magsalita, hindi nya nagawa.

Isa-isang nagsituluan muli ang mga luha sa kanyang mata at unti-unti nyang naramdaman ang sakit sa kanyang dibdib.

How dare he left this woman who always cares for him, who always prioritize him, who loves him so much to the point that she can do everything for him? How could he do this to the woman who is always willing to be by his side through the ups and downs of his life? If his family had been through a lot, what more his beloved woman Kristene?

Just by the thought of nearly losing his beloved woman makes his heart clench in pain. Sobrang sakit na para syang unti-unting pinapatay sa oras na 'to.

That's Kristene. She gave her all to the man that she loves. She's selfless. She may forgot to love herself before, but now, even though she love herself, her feelings for Vincien is much heavier. Wala eh. Ganon na nya talaga kamahal si Vincien.

Vincien hugged her tightly as he, again, cried his heart out. This time, Kristene just let him. Gusto nyang mawala ang bigat na nararamdaman nito sa puso nya. Alam ni Kristene na sisisihin ni Vincien ang sarili nya kaya nagdadalawang isip sya na sabihin dito ang totoo. Pero ayaw na nyang maglihim pa. She hugged him with equal ferocity as she gently caress Vincien's hair. "I told you the truth but not to blame yourself for what happened to me. Walang may gusto nang nangyari na 'yon. But hey, you see I'm still alive and kicking. So please V? Stop crying already."

"Why are you so selfless? Kung tutuusin I don't deserve the kind of love that you have for me. But why? Why are you still here with me? Why do you always make me feel like I'm the most special person in the world for you? Why don't you blame me? Why?!" Vincien ask in a cracked voice.

"I only have one answer to your questions."

Naramdaman pa ni Kristene na mas humigpit pa ang yakap ni Vincien sa kanya.

"It's because I love you."

Vincien froze for a couple of second before he cried and sobbed loudly. This is the first time na nakita ni Kristene ang sobrang pag-iyak ni Vincien. Tipong humahagulgol na ito habang yakap sya nito ng mahigpit.
