chapter eighty nine ~ the one with multiple rendezvous
Joey's POVNo one could believe that Ross had said the wrong name at his own wedding ceremony, it was something that just doesn't happen. Heather had to hold Rachel back, making sure that she didn't disrupt the ceremony anymore than she had without realising and Ross had to hold onto Emily so that she didn't leave him at the altar. All of the guests were shocked and the Geller's were now rethinking their decision to pay for this wedding because it seemed like they had wasted their money and their time by coming to it. The ceremony continued and Ross was officially married to Emily but it didn't seem like either of them were actually happy with their vows to each other and everyone doubted how long this marriage would last. After the awful ceremony, everyone headed back to the hotel where the party was going to be held but it was obvious that no one was in the partying mood.
Joey didn't even look interested in the rest of his friends heading to the party and tried to drag Heather up to her suite, which had become their suite because of how much time they were spending together. Monica had spent the night with a British guest and swore that she would do the same tonight, meaning that Heather would have their room to herself again and that meant that Joey would be able to spend the night without being bothered by any of their friends. The only issue that they hadn't thought about was that now Rachel had arrived in London, she had nowhere to stay and would probably end up in the girls' room. "Where are you going?" Heather asked as Joey gripped her wrist and led her up the stairs. "The party is downstairs."
"I know."
"So, why aren't we going downstairs?"
"Do you really want to spend the rest of the night listening to Ross all depressed and Emily shouting at him?" He asked, stopping their walk so that he could face her. "Or do you want to spend the rest of the night doing something more entertaining?"
"Well, as fun as the party sounds..." She trailed off and allowed herself to get pulled up to her suite with her boyfriend.
Heather pushed the door closed and reached for the latch, pulling it just as Joey turned her around and pressed her back against the door, his lips attached to hers as they both try to enjoy the moment. He pulls off his blazer, dumping it somewhere on the ground, not letting his mind wander as he focused on the beautiful girl in front of him; watching as she unbuttoned his white shirt and pulled it off his broad shoulders. She raised her hands and with one, cupped his strong jaw and the other slipped around his neck, keeping herself positioned so that she could control the kiss. But one slide of his tongue over her lip and she melted into his arms, not caring about what would happen anymore. Joey reached into his pocket, ready to take out a condom and move this session to the bed but started fumbling when they heard someone on the other side of the door and their eyes widened. "It's Rachel!" The couple fumbled as they tried to make it look less like they were about to have sex, Joey picked up his clothes but didn't have time to put them on when the door opened and Heather just ran into the bathroom, hoping to hide from her problems.
