growing up, i was always the star student. the teacher's pet. the kid who always got all those awards at the ceremony. the kid who you suspect is going to do big things after they graduate.

always behaved well, had great grades, had good morals. i didn't know what i wanted to do with my life, but i knew it wanted to be perfect for it. perfect at it. perfect with it.

and then i found my calling after being in a play in middle school. i scored the lead...and something about having the lights on me...something about acting...drew me in. i was outspoken and happy during that time. until an abusive relationship knocked the wind out of my lungs. literally and figuratively. but acting helped me cope.

and so that's what i became. an actress. i landed my first big role in a production for netflix, called outer banks. and everything, despite my new found insecurities, was perfect. and then, i fell for him. completely due to chance, the man i fell for was my on-screen love interest. and to my luck, he fell for me too.

but that's when all hell broke loose. but it got worse. a pandemic struck out. people were dying everywhere. it almost felt fake until it reached the united states. and my mom became one of the first united states fatalities. i was now orphaned, and quarantined with the same people who drove me to a mental breakdown.
