Chapter 35: After The Party

*Anora's P.O.V*

Today has been insane.

Everyone threw a party for me without me knowing, which is part of the reason why Rhys took me out. I have a beautiful new promise ring and the best friends and boyfriend that I could ever ask for. 

After the main guests from the party all left, it was just us at the house. I had changed into a new dress that I had just gotten, not knowing about the party at the time I bought it. 

Koda was standing on the side of the island counter with Baz standing beside her, his right arm resting around her waist. She had a new teal dress on that I couldn't get over. I told her that if she wasn't going to buy it, I would buy it for her. 

Ray had a black dress on that, I think, honestly sent Lewis over the moon. 

Sage was wearing an emerald green dress that barely hung above the ground. Will had his eyes on her the whole evening. 

Charlotte had a shorter black and blue dress on that Ryan seemed to not be able to shake from his mind. 

The party was so fun! My family came up to see me, along with some other friends. My cousin was fangirling over Rhys, but really wasn't trying to. 

"I can't believe you're actually dating Razzbowski!" Jade had said... well.... more like squealed. 

My mom liked the promise ring, and my dad seemed to show his 'approval' of Rhys, which- in return- made the scot relax a little.

Now, we're just standing around the counter, talking about anything and everything. It was just the ten of us now, drinks in hand. 

Baz was standing semi-behind, semi-beside Koda, his right hand on the far side of her waist. 

Sage and Will were leaning against the wall counter, Will's arm around the lower area of her back. 

Charlotte was sitting on a bar stool, Ryan's arms hanging down on her shoulders. 

Ray was standing beside me, 6'2" Lewis right behind her, draping his arms around her neck. 

Rhys was on the other side of me, his arm around my waist. 

We'd been laughing over something random that came up, and I felt Rhys rock back just a bit. 

"Whoa babe!" I laughed. "Careful!"

"I-I'm fiiine, lass..."

"Oh no..." Ryan laughed out loud, followed by the other three. "Razzy's gone!"

I rolled my eyes and laughed. 

"That's what happens with Rhys and parties if you let him get too much." Will said, still laughing. 

"Too much? So should I limit your Monster?" Sage challenged jokingly.

"Hey now!" Will said. "You'd have the fight me for it- and win- before that ever happens!" 

We all laughed again.

"Here, Rhys. Come with me." I said, leading him upstairs to my room. I probably gave the others ideas, but they know better in all honesty. I helped the scot onto the bed and let him lay down. "Sleep it off, hun, alright?" I know Rhys isn't completely wasted. Some of him is still there, but I don't want to take any chances. 

I was about to turn and leave when he reached up and laced his hand with mine.

"Come stay with me, baby."

I couldn't deny. 

"Let me go change first." I said, grabbing an Aphmau hoodie and a pair of joggers. I went into the bathroom to change, then came back and laid down with Rhys. Soon after, I heard everyone else coming upstairs and going into separate rooms. But I never heard any of the guest room doors close. 

"They all had the same idea then." I whispered to myself. Rhys didn't seem to hear me, as he was already half asleep. 

I moved myself down against him and rested my head under his. When I did, I felt his arms snake around me. 

Good thing I already shut everything off in here for the night.

Sorry it's a little short, but it's what happened after the party. Not much, just a drunk Rhys Lol!
