They say time flies when you have fun, and let me just say... this past year has been amazing! I'm now married to the love of my life, which insanely only started as an internet crush. To think that my life always fell into rocky roads of bad relationships, and has now brought me to this sudden peace... It's incredible what can be done when you let true love take the reins.
"Hello, love." Baz's voice snapped me out of my thoughts. He approached me, sitting beside me on the edge of our bed. His arms snaked their way gently around me, swiftly guiding me up to his lap. His touch remained light the whole way.
"Hey."
I gazed into my husband's eyes, the cat-green color captivating my ocean blue eyes, resulting in a beautiful teal reflection. He took my left hand in his, admiring the way our rings matched each other.
"I never would have thought that I would end up so happy." He said. "But when I met you, all of that changed for me."
Baz averted his gaze from the rings to my eyes, a loving expression radiating from them. I felt his fingers intertwine with mine, locking our hands together. I tucked my head against his shoulder, my face buried into the crook of his neck.
After a moment of sitting on Baz's lap, enjoying his company, I remembered what we had going on later today.
"When is everyone else going to be here?" I asked, watching Baz brush his hair to the side. His glasses were knocked to the side in the process. I giggled, fixing them back before swooping down to peck his lips before allowing him to respond.
"Around eleven." He said, checking his phone. "It's ten right now."
I started to get up to get things finalized for everyone leaving for Alton today, but Baz pulled me back down.
"I have everything taken care of." He said. "Everything is packed, I've been to the store... it's all ready."
"Look at you." I laughed, feeling my husband's lips on mine once again in another, more passionate kiss.
"You're exhausted, sweetheart. You and the girls have planned this for months and it's starting to catch up to you. That's why I let you sleep and did all the running this morning for you."
"Thank you, Ryan."
"Of course, love."

I wake up to the sun beating in my eyes...
Wait...
The sun? I'm normally up before the sun reaches this side of the house...
I reached for my phone, which was sitting on the table on my side of the bed. Tapping the screen, I began to worry when I noticed that the time was nearly ten, and I hadn't heard my alarm go off.
"Shit..." The curse was enough of a boost for my energy to suddenly find itself. However, the door opened as I was moving from the comfortable, queen-sized bed.
"Easy there, lass." Rhys chuckled. He glided over to where I, now, stood beside the bed and was taking my phone from the charger. "What's your rush? It's only ten, and we don't have to meet with the others until eleven."
"I slept late, and I went past my alarm." I tried to explain, my head flooding with the thousands of things I had to do in the small hour timeframe I had.
"I cut your alarm, love. You've been up late for the past few nights planning things with the girls and you needed the rest."
"I appreciate the thought, Rhys." I said, kissing his cheek. "But, I have so much to do-" I continued, starting to pass by my husband.
