It had been so many years since you fled from the order. Your parents were avid Death Eaters and tried to force you to get the dark mark upon your graduation at Hogwarts. You had told two of your friends in the case of an emergency, but to everyone else, you just disappeared. You changed your name and moved to Romania to study dragons on a remote sanctuary; no one knew who you were.

Unbeknownst to you, your childhood best friend and long-time crush was heartbroken at your disappearance. James and Sirius, who knew about your escape, told Remus that your parents killed you when you refused the mark.

You had planned to stay hidden forever despite your want to see your friends again. However, when your friend, Charlie, had been in contact with Hogwarts for the TriWizard Tournament, he told you about how He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is back. That was when you knew that the Order of the Phoenix would start up again. As much as you wanted to stay hidden from your parents and other Death Eaters, you knew that the Order needed you. Hence, you set out for London, specifically 12 Grimmauld Place.

When you approached the door, you could hear the exchanges being passed inside. Mainly welcomes, nice to see yous, and how have you been. You were terrified to face your peers after being away for so long. Taking a deep breath, you pushed through the door, and everyone's voices came to a stop. Inside the room were three of your old friends, Arthur, Molly, and Sirius. There were also some unfamiliar faces.

Sirius was the first to approach you, hugging you tight. "I cannot believe you showed up."

"Me neither, Pads," you laughed, wrapping your arms around his neck. After pulling away relevantly, he introduced you to the others in the room. You learned their names were Harry, Ron, Hermione, Fred, George, Bill, Fleur, and Tonks.

You turned to make conversation with Harry, learning about his parents and sharing condolences. You changed topics to his school to which he responds about his experience during the Goblet of Fire Tournament. However, the conversation did not last long as Sirius explained that a game plan was needed.

Everyone walked into the dining room, seating themselves around a long table. When you walked in, you were met with the face you never thought you'd see again: Remus Lupin. A pang of jealousy spread through your chest as you saw Tonks shamelessly flirting with him. Sure, he was blushing, which could have been from attraction or embarrassment, but you felt upset that you had missed your chance.

Sitting down solemnly next to Sirius, shockingly across from Remus, you looked down at your hands. Sirius seemed to catch on to your change in demeanor and quickly looked up, seeing Moony and Tonks. He knew that Remus still had feelings for you, but Tonks refused to take no for an answer.

Sirius, jokingly, leaned over while Remus finally caught your eye. Sirius leaned into your ear and whispered, "I have an idea. Just go along with it." Your face immediately heated up from Remus staring you down, and Sirius's plan. The plan was to make Remus jealous.

Over the course of a week, Sirius really tried to pull it off. He left little love notes for you even though Remus was always the one to find them. He would always sit next to you during meals and meetings; Remus was across from you every time. He even took it upon himself to talk to Remus about his 'crush' and how he thought you were showing an interest.

Naturally, Remus became upset since he had not recovered from his crush; needless to say, he was officially jealous. So when you went out for a walk around 2 am, he secretly followed you in hopes to tell you of his feelings before Sirius.

After walking for about a mile, you stumbled upon a little ice cream shop. Knowing you wouldn't be going to sleep any time soon, you stopped in (definitely not because you just wanted ice cream). Remus, of course, followed you in.

"Hi, can I get a (fav ice cream) cone, please?" You asked politely, reaching into your back pocket for your wallet.

"And I'll take a chocolate cone, thanks," Remus said as he placed ten galleons on the counter. You two waited for your cones before he turned to face you. "Can we talk?" You nodded and led him over to a booth in the corner.

"How's life been? I haven't seen you in how many years?" You laughed.

"Almost 17 years. Why didn't you tell me?"

"I wanted to, trust me. I just didn't want anyone to be put in danger because of my parents."

"Well if you had stayed, I would have protected you."

"I was not going to burden you with that, Moony."

"You could never be a burden," he said quietly as he reached across the table to hold your hand. "If you had stayed, I would have told you about my feelings sooner."

"Your feelings for Tonks?"

"No, you
