I looked at the unexpected guest
"Surprise Cherie" he said having his arms open
I jumped in his arms
"You came" I said
"I will never leave you on Christmas" he replied
"But you were just in France with your family" I said
"I left early to be with you" He said
"But I told you to stay" I replied
"I wasn't going to leave you alone on Christmas" He said
"How did you even know I was here?" I asked
He looked over my shoulder. I turned around and he was looking at Jenna
"Surprise" She said
"Thank you" I replied
"So this is the Fiancé" Aunt Michelle said
"Yes, um Stefan this is my Aunt Michell and Uncle Mark, which are Jenna's parents and Aunt Nancy who is Lucas's mom" I said
"Hello" Stefan said
"Hi" they collectively said
"Come inside, sit we are opening presents" Aunt Michelle said
"Oh, let me go get mine" He replied
"That is very kind of you" She said
He went to the car and brought up presents.
"My gifts for you at home" I said
"I brought them" He replied
"Thank you" I said
Stefan put the presents down and we sat around the tree and continued opening presents
"Stefan this is too much" Uncle Mark said
"No, this would look great on that wrist of yours" Stefan said
Stefan got Uncle Mark a watch.
"I can't accept this" Uncle Mark said
"Well you are" Stefan replied
"Lexi, do something" Uncle Mark said
"I am not apart of this" I replied putting my hands up
We opened the rest of the gifts and everyone loved theirs.
"Stefan thank you so much, we are happy you are here to celebrate. I hope this won't be the only time" Aunt Nancy said
"It definitely won't. If Sta- I mean if Lexi wants to spend Christmas with her family I will be right by her side" Stefan replied
"So you call her stassie?" Aunt Michelle asked
"Yeah, I have known her as Anastasia when we met. It is a habit now" Stefan replied
"Oh I see, it is weird hearing anastasia, she has always been our little Lexi" Aunt Michelle replied
"Yeah, it is weird hearing Lexi or Alexis, she will always be my Cherie" Stefan replied
"What does cherie mean? Aunt Nancy asked?
"It means sweetheart" I replied
"Why can't I have cute nickname" Aunt Michelle smacked Uncle Mark
"Oww, are you serious" Uncle Mark replied
"Yes" she said
"Are you guys excited for the wedding" Aunt Nancy asked
