(Need to clarify something. Only reason why stassie hasn't revealed her identity is because they don't want to lose each other. They don't know if her brothers will try hurting Stefan and take back stassie. She also doesn't want the babies to be involved because they don't know if the babies will get hurt. She's being precautions and trying to protect everyone. She doesn't care about herself getting hurt, only the people she loves.)
I tried sleeping but I couldn't. I couldn't sleep knowing my brothers know about the babies.
"Cherie" Stefan whispered
I didn't move to look at him
"I know you're awake" he whispered
I turned around to face him
"I'm sorry" he said
"It isn't your fault" I replied
"None of this would have happened if my mother-
"Stefan your mother caused this, not you. You can't blame yourself for something you didn't do" I said
"But she's my mother, I could have stopped this" he replied
"You couldn't though, your mother is unpredictable and we never thought this could have happened. You can't blame yourself so don't beat yourself about it" I said
"I know, I just don't know what to do" he replied
"Neither do I but we go through this step by step. We will figure it" I said
"Hopefully nothing will happen" he replied
"Hopefully nothing will" I said assuring him
"You know what" Stefan said
"What?" I asked
"I know what we can do with your parents house" he replied
He was trying to get my mind off the situation, he knew that I needed that.
"What should we do?" I asked
"We can make it a getaway house, it isn't so close to the city, we can disconnect from the world and we can take the babies there on the weekends" he replied
"I like that idea, it can be our little spot on the days we are tired of our lives" I said
"We should go now then" he replied
"I wish we could" I said
We couldn't disconnect, not now. We had to watch everything play out, in case anything were to happen.
"Look on the bright side our wedding is in a month and then right after we will be in the Maldives, no one bothering us for 2 weeks in a private hut" he said
"I can't wait" I replied
I needed a break, a big one. Where I have no one telling me my brothers are out to get me, no one telling Stefan he is needed.

"Will you be able to sleep?" He asked
"Nope" I replied
"Wanna go house hunting?" He asked
I love house hunting, either if I wasn't going to buy the house, it was still very fun
"You already know the answer" I replied
He flashed a smile which always makes me better. His smile is comforting and it brings me peace.
"Okay, any specifics?" Stefan asked
"Corner room, so I can see the city" I said
"Okay" he replied
