Chapter 29-Forgiveness

"We need to talk" I said

"Ok, can I go first" He asked

"Yeah" I replied

"I have thought about what has happened in the past 2 weeks. I replayed our argument over and over again, just to find out what I did wrong. The past two weeks has been hell without you. I was an asshole and didn't realize the horrible things I said too you before it was too late. I wish I could go back in time and never bring up that conversation. I realized that my mother was manipulative and tried changing you through me, which I am disappointed and shocked. I told her if that she didn't change she would be banned from the wedding. Stassie I was so scared I was going to lose you forever. I never want to lose you and I love you so much. I want you to know I am going to change, I have talked to Dr. Williams and we are going to work on my anger, and I will get better. I know you might not take my apology but stassie I am truly sorry for how I acted and how I tried forcing you into something that you shouldn't be in. I understand what I did wrong and I am really sorry" he said

I was looking at him, i could tell by his voice and eyes he wasn't lying and he was actually scared to lose me. He was sorry and he knew what he did wrong.

"Thank you, it means a lot knowing you will change and that how much you are truly sorry. I understand why why you wanted to protect me, I have gotten kidnapped before multiple times. You shouldn't have listened to your mom and automatically think I would agree to it but I understand where your intention was" I replied

"Thank you, and I just wanted to protect you but I know you can protect yourself and you got a whole mafia behind you that are willing to give their life to protect yours" he said

"Next time, let's talk and have an actual conversation. Let's not fight because I wanted to call you so many times but I resisted the urge" I replied

"You know how many times I wanted to text you and call you, every hour I wanted to" he said

"I had to make Andrew take my phone away" I replied

"Julia took mine" he said with a small chuckle

"At least we know some of our siblings have our backs" I replied

"Yeah, and again I'm sorry Cherie. I love you so much" he said

"I love you too Stefan" I replied bringing him into a kiss. I missed him so much and I wasn't going to forgive him this easily. We were going to talk about how he mother manipulated him and how we should come to an agreement on protective services

"Never leave me" he said

"I won't" I replied

Stefan Aveline may have broken my heart but at the same time he fixed it.

Stefan and I had dinner together and we had a normal conversation about how we would go about his mother and protecting me

"Okay, so I will take self defense classes and I will carry a taser. If I go outside of the state or country without you I will take a guard and if I'm in New York my driver will stay at the shoot" I said

"I can agree with that, and I was wondering just in case any of us ever get kidnapped in our rings we will pick out for the wedding we get it chipped. The kidnappers won't suspect the rings" he replied

"Ok I can agree on that" I said

"Ok, now about your mother" I said

"Yes, well I talked to her saying if she tries to interfere and if she doesn't change I will cut off all my ties with her and ban her from the wedding" Stefan said
