Stefan and I were on our way to the first house
"I still can't believe you put melatonin in my drink" I said
"If I told you to take it, you would be stubborn and not take it. You're a Virgo, what do you expect" he replied
"When did you get into astrology?" I asked
"Since you decided to annoy me with questions about my sign and all the crystals you have in the house" he replied
"You know what, you're a Sagittarius it makes sense why you're like this" I said
"Hey Sagittarius are an amazing sign" he said defending his sign
"You wish" I scoffed
"Ok miss perfectionist" he replied
"At least I'm not careless" I said
"I am not" he replied
"Keep telling yourself that Mr. Sagittarius" I said patting his head
We reached the first building and stepped inside
"Hi we are here to see the open house" Stefan said
"Yes, follow me" the receptionist replied
We went in the elevator and went up to the floor.
"Here you go" she said opening the door
"Thank you" I replied
We entered the house and I could tell I wasn't going to like it
"The family room isn't really open" I said
"Let's keep looking" he replied
We walked through to the kitchen
"The kitchen is small" I said
"We can extend it into the dining room" he replied
"Let's see the rest of the house" I said
We looked at the rest of the house and I did not like it. It was small, didn't have the big windows I love, a very tiny patio, we would also have to do a lot of renovations.
"It's a no, we're going to spend so much already plus renovations. It doesn't make sense to get this one when there are others that are better" I said
"Ok, let's check the other place" he replied
We drove to the other apartment and this one was better
"Ok, this is more open" I said walking through
When we walk through it's a hallway but on the right is the office. We reached the family room and it was very open and big.
"Ok, I like how it's open" I said
We walked through the rest of the house and it was nice but I didn't feel like this could be my future home.
"I don't know, it's okay" I replied
"We will keep looking" he said
We picked up some food and went home. We were going to see more houses tomorrow. We wanted to divert our attention away from the articles and this is how we are doing it.
"Okay we will check out 2 more tomorrow" he said
"There is no rush" I replied
We ate lunch and looked at the different homes we could possibly move into.
"Maybe we go outside of the city" Stefan suggested
"Both of our work is in the city, it wouldn't make sense to go from outside the city everyday to the city and back" I replied
"Come on, imagine the twins running around in the backyard. We can add a basketball court, a soccer goal, there can be a pool. We won't have that if we live in an apartment. We can be as loud as we want and we won't have neighbors next to us" he said
"But the schools are great in the city, it's close to work so none of us are going to be late, everything is here" I replied
"You don't drive, we have a driver" he said
"Stefan, it just wouldn't make sense" I replied
"Come on, let's just check it out. There is no harm" he said
"Fine" I replied giving in
"Yes" he replied happily
The rest of the day went by quickly and we headed to bed.
We woke up the next morning and headed to the different apartments.
The first one I really liked. It was in front of the reservoir, it was open and had a patio. Only downside was it 5 bedrooms, we needed 6 and we would have to do some renovations.
The second one was also good. There wasn't any renovations to do besides small ones. It was big and had enough bedrooms. The down part was it had a very tiny patio so there would be no space for the kids to go outside.
"I like the first one better" I said
"Yeah, but we would have to do some renovations" he replied
"Yeah" I replied
"Let's think about, but now I'm showing you the house I picked" he said
"Ok" I replied
We got in the car and headed to the outside of the city.
After a 45 minute drive we reached the house. It was amazing, and it was still very modern. It was very big and and it had a long driveway which I loved
"Wow, it's big" I said
"Yeah, it has everything we need" he replied
We walked to the door and it was very tall which I always admired. We stepped inside and it was very modern. I always loved the modern look.
"Ok, so far I like it" I said
We walked through the whole house and ended up in the backyard last.
"Look it has a pool" Stefan said
"With a water slide" he said acting like a little kid
"We can add a basketball court over there, we can get soccer goals over here, and we even have spot for a giant patio" he said trying to convince me
I really loved this place, it had everything we needed. It had enough bedrooms and even more than we needed. The kitchen was gorgeous and huge, and the family room had giant. The upstairs bedroom weren't small which was a plus
"Come on, I know you love it" he said poking me
"I mean it is amazing, and has everything we want" I said
"And I did research and it had an amazing private school only 20 minutes from here" he replied
"And it's only 45 minutes which isn't too bad" I said
"Soo?" He asked
