The car halts indicting we reached the place which was a fucking castle. Someone opened my door to see it was the valet. Stefan exited the car first, then holding out his hand for me. I grabbed it and got out of the car.
Stefan tipped the guy and we headed inside. The inside was even more gorgeous. It was two double grand stair cases with a chandelier in the middle. We walked past the stairs and follow the chatter amongst the crowd. We walked over instead of walking straight inside, Stefan pulled me to the side and into a room-more like a bathroom.
"I know you don't like guns but if anything happens use this" Stefan said holding up a knife
"We haven't had much knife practice since the twins but hopefully you still remember the basics" he said strapping it onto my thigh
"I remember pieces" I replied
"Good" he said kissing me on my thigh before strapping it on
"Not now Stefan, come on. We have to make an appearance" I said
"We can be a little late" he replied trailing kissing along my thighs.
"This hair and makeup took too long. Come on, let's go" I said
"Fine" he huffed coming under my dress to now facing me
He got up from the floor and we headed to the ball room. Once we walked in we immediately were greeted with servers who had plates of champagne. We both grabbed a glass and started heading more in the venue.
"Ok, remember stay either stay next to me or Matthew, Julia, Louis or anyone else that is apart of my family" he whispered
"Ok" I replied
"Stefan" a man shouted over the music and came up to Stefan
"Connor" Stefan replied
"How are you?" He asked
"Good, how about you" Stefan asked
"Good as well" he said
The man who now I know the name of looked over to me
"Where are my manners, my name is Connor" he said introducing himself and extended his hand for a hand shake
"Nice to meet you, my name is Anastasia" I replied shaking his hand
"Yes of course, I'm sorry my mind has been all over the place" he said
"No worries" I replied
"I will let you guys greet the other guest. It was good seeing you two again" he said with a small smile and walked to other guest
"Was drunk at our wedding, had to kick him out" Stefan said
"I see" I replied
We walked around and I met more of Stefan's associates
"The one coming up is Jason and his wife Margaret. They are the host" Stefan whispered
"Hello Stefan and Anastasia" Jason said
"Hello jason an Margaret" he replied
"How are you?" Jason asked
"Good, just enjoying the ball" Stefan said
"Anastasia?" Jason asked
"It's wonderful, how about you guys? " I asked
"Good, just watching over" Jason replied
"Stressful for me, he just hangs out with the other men while I make sure if anyone breaks anything I will charge them" Margaret replied with a small laugh. The rest of us laughed as well
