Dr. Warner was looking at the screen confused
"Do twins run in the family?" She asked
"Yes, I have twin brothers" I replied
"Congratulations you are having twins. You can see two small little bean size. Now let's hear the heartbeat" she said
She turned on the sound and we heard the heartbeats
"This is the first baby's heartbeat" she said
Then she moved the wand around
"And the second one" she said
"Those are our kids?" I asked
"Yes" she replied
"We're having twins" I said looking at Stefan
"We are having twins" he replied
"Ok, you are all done isabella. Everything looks normal and our next appointment will be in 4 weeks" Dr. Warner said
"Does February 10th work for you guys?" She asked
"Let me check my schedule" I said
We pulled our our phones and checked the schedules
"I have a meeting at 1pm I am available before that" Stefan said
"Does 10am work for everyone?" Dr. Warner asked
"Yes" I said
"Yup" Isabella said
"Yeah" Stefan said
"Ok and do you guys want pictures?" Dr. Warner asked
"Yes please" I replied
"Isabella would you like a copy?" Dr. Warner asked
"No thank you, I've seen it many times before" she replied
"Okay" Dr. Warner said
Dr. Warner handed us two copies and we made an appointment for February 10th.
"Isabella again thank you so much" I said
"Of course, I have never had twins before" she replied
"Well now you can say you have" I said
"Yeah" she replied
"If you don't mind we were wondering if we can take you out for lunch, we wanted to talk to you about couple of things with the baby and the public" I said
"Okay" she replied
"Do you have a restaurant in mind?" I asked
"No, I'm fine with anything" she replied
"Ok, I will send you the restaurant address" I said
"Ok" she replied
We left the office and headed to the restaurant. Once we reached the restaurant and waited for Isabella.
"Sorry there was a lot more traffic, I got lost at one point" she said
"It's okay, we have a table" Stefan said
We went to our table which was in the back where it was more private.
Our waiter came and we got some drinks.
"So you wanted to discuss about the baby and the public?" She asked
"Yes, so you obviously signed a NDA and people will start to see you hanging out with us a lot and the bump will grow and pieces will connect and words will go around. Paparazzi may ask you questions and different journalist will reach out but do not give out any information. We are trying to keep everything private and we don't want the babies to be in the media. We know how hard it can be and we don't want them to experience that" I said
