"Hello Elijah and Ella" I said
"Elijah and Ella" Stefan said
"Elijah was born at 11:36, and Ella was born at 11:48 on September 3, 2022" The nurse said
"They are going to be fighting over this, aren't you" I said in a baby voice looking at Elijah
"Stassie, look Ella opened her eyes" Stefan said
I looked over to Ella and she had big bright green eyes
"She has your eyes" I said
"You're already beating your brother. Good job" Stefan said in a baby voice
"Seriously Stefan" I said and gave him a look
"Fine" He said
A minute later Elijah opened his eyes. He had big bright green eyes, identical to his sister
"Look" I said
He came over to see Elijah's big eyes
"They have the same eyes" He said
"They have your eyes" I replied
"But there's a hint of your eyes in there" He said
The twins didn't have an exact copy of Stefan's eyes they were a mix of both of ours but the green was more dominant
"They have a full head of a hair already" Stefan said
"They have our dirty blonde hair" I said
They have really dirty blonde hair, almost brown
The nurse went over to the doctor and whispered something
"Anastasia, I need to check Elijah real quick" Dr. Warner said
"Yes, is everything okay?" I asked
"Yeah, just want to double check something" She replied
I handed Elijah to the doctor and she grabbed her stethescope and checked out Elijah
"Okay, Elijah has a small heart murmur but that is common in newborn. We are just to keep an eye out" Dr. Warner said
"Is that bad?" I asked
"No, it is common so it should go away soon. We will keep monitoring it" She replied
"Okay" I said
"Isabella" I quietly said
"Yeah" She replied
"My family is here, can I start bringing them in?" I asked
"Sure" she said
"Thank you" I said
Stefan sat down and I handed him Elijah
"I'm going to get them" I said
"Okay" He replied
I stepped out of the room and went to the waiting room. Julia, Matthew, Lucas, Jenna, Aunt nancy, aunt michelle and uncle mark was here.
"Are they here?" Aunt Nancy asked
"Yes" I replied
"What are the names?" Aunt Michelle asked
"Elijah David Aveline and Ella Maggie Aveline" I said
"David and Maggie" Uncle Mark said
"It was the perfect middle names" I said
"Can we see them?" Aunt Nancy asked
"Yes, one by one because Isabella is tired" I said
"Okay" Uncle Mark said
